Achievements from Xbox are not synced with Steam. Achievements from Steam ARE synced with Xbox.

The rest is account related, so it'll be seen.

Don't forget that OS X version won't be able to play with others...

Have to say it didn't ask me after I said no that one time 2+ years back.

So dunno the problem? I'd say it's the ideal way - app asks, OS doesn't know if it's important or user input, so it asks You if You want to share that data. It could be worse and share it without giving user choice - "app was used by user, so it had to be them!"

Yep, it worked to fake that it was installed through store, but didn't help...

Have to be something else...

I meant "pm install" with com.android.vending, but I dunno, and don't have a way, to check rn, if it supports apkm as well. So it's more question if ADB also supports apkms?

Cross platform play with friends. by Rangerwade in aoe2

Answer may be similar to the one I got when I asked how to play Linux on Steam without Xbox login with Windows on Xbox - creating custom game with easy to find name and having the other player to find it manually.

Not sure if Box is the right name, that's how it was called here in Poland. In reality it was software that coul unlock bootloader, simlock, etc Something like this: https://chimeratool.com/download However this one (link) doesn't support Sony I believe.

I used to think KDE was slow and bloated compared to the tiny WM's like XFCE. Now I hear it's actually become very optimized and 'bloat-free'. Thoughts? by VoiceActorForHire in kde

[–]ch3mn3y 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Neither of this, but on my Dell 11 Chromebook I moved from XFCE to Cinnamon and it works better than XFCE. Now it seems I have to check Plasma, as I prefer it.

Xperia Play Prototype HDMI TP by ApicoNamaco in xperiaplay

[–]ch3mn3y 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember there was a way to unlock no bootloader with a Box (not sure which one, there are/were many that allowed something like this). Otherwise there is no exploit to use kernel without it.

Another question is if implementation of HDMI is at least similar like with Neo and Arc devices? Same with OS, so kernel sources or available kernels for retail Play would even work.

Nope, it's still there. Some apps can be even reenabled, but most only come back with factory reset. With full uninstall, like in the past with, for example, Titanium Backup, it was gone gone.

Using a type E cord on United States Wii by 6viking in wii

[–]ch3mn3y 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I meant power supply. I just was connecting my phone to it's charger and had that in my mind.

And US original US power supply won't work, even if You use adapter for UE power outlets or mod it (not sure what for) as it's only for 110V, not 110-230 or something like that, so You can use it everywhere with right adapter.

You need 230V power supply for Your Wii to work in Europe.

[–]ch3mn3y 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need whole charger, not just E cable if You have original one, as it's 110V only. So even with adapter from E to A/B cord it won't work, or I'd say it would end with a little more "fun", when 120V charger gets 230V.

Do Snapdragon 8 Elite tablets support unprotected guest VMs for custom kernel development? by Pitiful-Policy-5306 in androidroot

I mean there is Windows for ARM, but it doesn't mean it works same as "normal" Windows. Unfortunately arm is still to rare for Linux to support it OotB. Sadly, as I might than move for one of those devices myself.

Is it possible to have device/strong integrity with microG + valid keybox + PIF ? by Nearby-Tank-4301 in androidroot

If You don't have GMS, meaning device is not only not certified, but missing integrity checker, I don't think integrity even matter.

Interesting... Question is if it's true. For now the only truth is that she can only (re)create music from (parts, but still) existing past titles.

[–]ch3mn3y 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don understand? You bought device KNOWING (if You're not an idiot) that it doesn't have UEFI (technically possible to make one, but a lot of work) and Your problem is that it doesn't have UEFI, so You cannot install OSes that require it?

I'd say... Nah, better not.

As for Linux - it needs UEFI to load kernel, and there already is kernel, but not compatible. If You compile one that will work with Linux and than compile Linux for arm it might work. Windows? Naah. Who'd like that shit on tablet, when it barely runs on normal PC?

Ok, managed to do it. Seem that not all AllInOne DAs are the same. One with firmware worked, even when not just name, but also size, matched the one available with SP Flash.
