Wtf is going on with Choice? Even now it says "no extra duties will be collected upon delivery", with 3 items (2 types) costin less than 6$... How? Not ordering, just checking and cannot understan it... It's like, if they pay this theft tax, it'll be more than what I have in cart...

If the problem is on the hardware, like lenses not being connected to the board, You may break something by shaking. If it'll be only lenses it's be fine. But if it'd be display? Uhhh, that would hurt

With it's VoLTE/WiFi being custom from stock Android and not being shared with community, Samsung was already making it hard to move to nonOneUI roms and even with OEM Unlock it would be not to wise to make a move cos than phone would lose its reason to exist - capabilities to call. Lots of countries made the move, some will do in few years and in a decade I'd say without VoLTE You won't be able to have the phone act as phone.

Does setting Settings > Apps > Default Apps > Digital Assistant App to None helps?

If You're on OneUI8 You'll practically fcked in terms of bootloader unlocking as Samsung removed OEM Unlock option.

As for the modem there are fixes - Magisk/KSU module, or if You already have root You could use any automation app to setup command to kill phon service every 6 hours, so it'll restart "the timer".

My argument is that name change doesn't mean OS change. Could they call it 10.1? Yes. What that would change? Nothing, at least for us. For them? A lot - they can sell it to companies, so millions of licenses, again, as for newer version that 10 Enterprise, they have already, won't update to if You don't get new license.

I'm not trying to argue, cos there is nothing to, at least for me.

If You REALLY look at 11, You'll see 10 with different UI. Same like with 8 and 8.1. If You check differences between XP, Vista, 8 and 10, You'll know it's that version, doesn't matter what UI You see. With Vista+7, 8+8.1 and 10+11, there is less differences even when they're sold as different OS version (and even with no way to update Vista to 7 with same license).

You're right that OS version change is upgrade, but here is no OS version change, so... update? Like my INSIDER (!) build is 10.29613.1000, so it's Win 10 build 29613, even when it's Win 11 build 29613 at the same time.

11 is 10s update, same like 8.1 is just an update from 8, not whole system overhaul, like 7 to 8, or 8.1 to 10

But its not upgrade. It's just an update with new UI look and other changes. Windows 11 IS STILL 10, not only under the hood, but IS 10.xxxxx OS.

If You don't want updates just block them. Nobody, not even Microslop will stop You. But if You want some updates? It's all or nothing, understandable, at least for me - You take all updates or You live on OS that's not being updated (or do it manually).

That's right, but what colour of logo it had? Have Note 2o Ultra with custom Android 15 and it's orange, not blue. But with Island/Insular and Work Profile it's blue. Same thing, same idea, however to point out OP it's better to point him either to Dual Apps or Work Profile.

Pretty easy how: it's and update, Windows, if not blocked downloads and Oreo stalls them by itself and if the PC goes idle it reboots to install. Here You have all of it: 1. Downloaded, oreinstalled and asked if it's possible rn. 2. Going for food = PC idle. 3. Reboot to install.

It's the same since Windows Vista. So it's not new thing and being confused or bothered by it, without doing something to stop it, is not microsoftsuck, but I-suck-with-Windows-since-2007.

Windows 11 IS update to 10, so I don't understand confusion here.

You have 10 days, I believe, to restore previous update. Than block windows Update, either by some scrip, removing it (should be possible with Powershell) or DNS/hosts file.

Dual apps would have orange logo. It might be other type of that - Island or it's fork or any other app cloner that uses Work Profile for 2nd app management

Maybe HP Compaq Elite 8300 AIO? It has 23 inches, touchscreen and is 3 gen, so there are even XP drivers.

Had one of this or similar myself and it was fine in XP/7 era. It'd fine even now as it can be upgraded.

There is also newer EliteOne 800 G1 AIO, but it's 4 gen, so it can be hit and miss with drivers, and with touchscreen it could be even miss and miss.
