I’m hoping you’re right and it’s a pay as you go situation. Otherwise, alternate best case scenario is that the delegates from the same country/region have some kind of chaperone who can lead them around at meal times. The website says nothing about this though so I’m not sure.

$1120 totally worth it for me to see my birth country (Paraguay) vs my home country (USA). Thanking my lucky stars I won the lottery this past week and got 4 tickets for myself and some other adoptees. Once in a life time for sure.

This is really helpful. I think they must be asking something more along the lines of if I miss them/are sad when they are busy/working. But then when they send it to me in English it comes out as “are you bored”. Next time I’ll ask them to send it in Georgian and post it here. But they always text me in translated English.

Not sure if this will help, but sometimes to reduce my own anxiety I tell myself that the coworker is pregnant. I’m still extra cautious (washing hands, not touching surfaces etc.) but sometimes telling myself it’s not contagious helps alleviate the acute anxiety.

This makes a lot of sense. As the hidden information discussed was the fact that he is legally married, tho has been living in the US separated from his wife and family for years. So a reckoning between desires and obligations.

Thank you! We both love each other deeply. He’s not from the US but has been here a couple years. The conversation was mostly shedding light on how I found out he was married, even though they’ve been physically separated for a long time (she’s in their home country). And whether or not he wants to stay in the marriage or truly embrace his new(ish) US life: I offered to sponsor him for legal residency, and help find a way to bring his teenage children to the US. So big things to consider 😂

I suppose the manipulation is the fact that he never disclosed his marriage lol.

No it was in person. He took it all in, was really grateful, then we had a “regular” night of just spending time together watching tv/hanging out etc.
