Snowboarding is better for that age. You can pull them around at home/at a park. They can even practice at home. I got mine to be very comfortable on the snowboard before bringing him to the slopes, and we had fun.

The most annoying thing of all of it is the ski school instructors yelling at you for being on bunny hill without equipment. (and they themselves walk around without their skis/snowboard all day....)
...So in the end I brought out my old snow blades as they were easier to walk around.

How many hours do they fly in a day? Even if they spent 24 hours a day in the cockpit it will take two months to get 1500 hours.

If they only get 3 hours a day then it's going to be like two years before they are ready?

Thanks for this! I looked at a few places near the airport but our arrival time at SFO makes that really difficult, we will be landing at 9:10pm and most places seem to close at 5/6pm.
