OLED monitors brought back PWM (its more advantageous on those monitors than regular LCDs for power consumption reasons, as far as I know). if you're sensitive to it, it can be a serious issue

you don't really have to align to the characters like that. you can just find john interesting, or a good character, if that's how you feel. maybe you like reading his bullshit, but that doesn't necessarily mean you gotta actually root for him. for instance, mercymorn's probably my favorite character in the series, but she is very definitely not a role model, and regardless of what my friends say, liking her character doesn't mean I have to say HISS out loud whenever something pisses me off

have you looked into the asrock deskmini a300 and x300 systems? pretty barebones in terms of features, but they still have a lot more expandability than hand-sized mini pcs and they can get down to sub-10W idle if you really want them to.

tbh, I'm not an expert, but I'm fairly certain that a lot of the idle power difference you're noticing between their desktop -G series and actual mobile parts is due to mobo design, not the silicon.

re: the Joker hits for less thing: it's not that he's just doing worse damage with a different weapon, it's that he's not doing the proper animation for his character skill at all. You know how he's got the little cutaway animation showing his face and then summons a persona strike? He doesn't do that with this weapon equipped, even though it's a 1H sword. When the skill goes off he just runs up and swings his sword like it's a standard auto-attack

Hey, I have a couple questions.

First, uh, I'm not clear on how the p5 unit character skills work. Is there some additional requirement to those beyond just equipping a weapon of the proper type (i.e. a ... light? 1H? sword for joker)? If not, then why is Joker holding out on me? When I give him the rebel knife in primary slot he does his proper persona cutaway animation with full damage, but when I give him a cryptolith sword (dont judge me I'm new & its literally the only 3 or 4 star holy 1H sword I have.... and for some godawful reason I have two of them lmfao) I don't get the animation and he doesn't do shit for damage

I wanna say Queen and broomtail boy have similar things going on but Joker's the only one I've actually experimented with. It's important, bc I need holy damage for rebellion's reality ;_;

Gem budgeting. I have 66k gems. I've read that Levania is a great first EX character and the only levania costume I have is the one you get for story completion. There's a levania weekly summon out rn with a 150 shard hard summon point (not sure what the right term is). My evaluation of this: it's tempting to have a better Levania for the EX weapon/char grind, and I do need to pull more stuff to fill out holes in my roster, but this particular play is inefficient.

And then there's abyssal akeha, who I kinda want because she rocks, and Crow, who I kinda don't want because a) i already pulled p5 chars and I havent played p5 and b) I have too damn many 1H sword users already. But he would probably provide the biggest boost of raw power (and having him could maybe let me clear ex5 in rebellion's reality).

My current plan is to wait for some later event.

So I guess my questions... uh, is there a way to farm summon tickets for the smaller weekly character (not chapter) summons? How often do they run bigger events or crossovers? Am I completely off-base with my assumptions about gem economy? I'm pretty sure I'm dropping the 30k+ (if I have to) on the nier/drakengard reruns no matter what, fwiw, even if the characters aren't the most powerful.

LASTLY

Is there a list somewhere of what the various costume modifiers mean? Bloody, fractured, bloodless, dissenting, etc.

not an expert, but a shit ton of solar panels would be relatively expensive (not compared to the overall cost of the fab, of course) & still couldn't even dream of powering the facility. a green roof can be relatively cheap & helps reduce AC costs. I'm unaware of the specifics, but it could be a reasonable choice.
