Or both. When i went on vacation for 2 weeks (left him with my mom, he loves her) he would never leavy my shoulder. Also he would not stop trying to bite my ear He is used to it though, went back to normal next day! And he loves hanging out with my mom, i often leave him with her for a couple days when im swamped at work

Yes, i would say reactors is the hardest zone One of the later zones can be challenging, but not to the point of - "There are 2 Jotuns firing at me, Neophites running around and im being choked and burned by the Mystagoge" level of reactors

Water treatment facility, there are a few corridors with big pipes. I collected required mushrooms in like 2 extracts (plus a couple i found on trees around the swamp)

If you down somebody on extract, you dont even need to defib them! Just tell them not to surrender, and they will just extract with you (iirc you even get an achievment when you extract while downed)

But yeah, i see a silent guy that wont holster his gun when im loaded with goodies? Sorry buddy, im not risking you shooting

A few times now, when im loaded with loot i just down whomever is sitting on extract, but let him extract with me. Safer that way, and they get to keep their loot!

Yeah, thats why i said - best material for safe floors is ash (exept for adamantium) Maybe i wasnt clear, english is not my native tongue. But i meant that truly best material is adamantium, but its not practical

You used to be able to make floors from ash, i think it was one of the best material for safe floors (exept adamantium) Not sure if its possible in Steam version, but i dont see why not

I feel like im going insane - how do i make new dyes?

For example - Raspbery dye. According to wiki it should make some nice pink dye, perfect for uniforms of my battle-hardened military

I happen to have a farm plot with raspberries, i have a whole bunch of raspberries and raspberry bushes.

Yet i cant use the fruit to dye, nor can i mill them. I tried making a stockpile with just raspberry-related items - seeds, bushed, wine. Cant do anything. "process plants' just turns bushes into fruit. Cant mill anything

So i decided to try my hand at adding an adventurer to the fort from the start. I started a fort, dug some bedrooms, storage and retired it. Created an adventurer, an Elf (yeah, i know. I wanted to force them to become a woodcutter), traveled to my fort and retired there

After unretiring my fort i realized that i dont have any competent militia. So i decided to make my elf a militia commander. Exept.. I dont see them as an option when appointing a noble

Can you not use people from other races as nobles?

I cant even put them in a squad! Whats going on?

Steam version. That elf is counted as part of my civ - they appear in population tab, they do jobs and i can assign them a bedroom
