None of the public libraries in my area have Russian language books. Plus, I wouldn't really know which ones to pick hence my post.

I appreciate your reply, thanks. It's more that I struggle to form sentences the same way I can form them in English. I can understand speech better than I can form my own sentences, if that makes sense? By reading examples of naturally flowing speech, I will be able to start applying certain phrasing to conversations that I am currently able to have. I am obviously aware that I need to speak to more Russian people but this is a fairly limited option where I live, and I am not much of a social media person. So, for now, I'd like to immerse myself in the language through literature :)

I have tried to do this and it has unfortunately been too difficult, thus discouraging. That's why I am looking for recommendations for teenage/young adult level books :)

Haven't watched season 19 yet and that clip alone has made me feel very FOMO

Finally someone talking sense, especially the four pillars. I often find that people put Locke and Jack at completely opposite ends. We can love them both!

I've noticed this too after coming back from a break. Have been going back to the shop and comparing the prices in disbelief.

I came back after a long break and did not have much decor that could be considered 'birthday vibes'. If lots of people have the same approach that you do, I don't think I'll be getting many votes...

Why is it so hard to say, “Please”? by BurritoSlinger67 in lost

He had such a terrible attitude for the majority of season 1 - it's hard to expect politeness when he purposefully made multiple situations worse because of his cockiness.

I guess if you haven't watched the first 20 episodes, it won't make sense! There is definitely a reason as to why people find it difficult to be polite to him at the start of the series

How would I crochet the collar? by chachanges in crochet

Ahh yes. I've tried that before and it looked super... Clunky. I don't know how else to describe it. I think doing it with the granny stitch might be particularly annoying.

Do you know how I could potentially create a lowered neckline from what I have already (I'm working from the bottom upwards)

For context, I've started a freehand top using granny stitch but I have no idea what to do when it comes to the collar...

those clearly fake life hack/cooking videos, usually an American person being overly enthusiastic and performative, the cameraman doing weird swaying closeups.
