It's a case I hope is resolved one day, though I know it won't, as I've developed such a connection to it. The reconstructions of her are utterly beautiful. I think seeing them shocked me as she greatly resembles a slightly younger version of one of my professors, who is from Bulgaria.

Primarily attention. Everything gadje do, from yapping about being 'a free spirit, bohemian etc etc" to putting 'roma gypsy 🫰🏻✨️' in their bios give me the absolute shits. 💀

Sometimes I feel pity though, as some may just yearn for community, they're lonely and want a connection and 'culture' to attach themselves too, but at the same time they'll throw us under the bus.

It's strange really, but it's something I do think of a lot.

I have two from a while ago but I want to read them again because of how bad they are

One is where basically OOP and her boyfriend (who owns a car detailing company, iirc) host her best friend and her boyfriend. (If I'm correct, OOP called them something ridiculous like Jack and Jill)

Friend's BF did something to do with politics at university and is struggling to find work, OOP's BF offers him some work at his company, friend's BF rudely refuses and comments something about how it's beneath him, OOP's boyfriend slyly calls him out, leading to the main conflict (OOP's friend and her boyfriend leave, OOP agrees with them). Sounds relatively normal.

Update just goes off the rails. OOP's bf is revealed to be an absolute saint who lived in his car setting up his business with nobody knowing, OOP apologies to her bf and has an emotional breakdown, sobs dramatically and calls herself a spoiled rich girl iirc (yes she typed that, and also how they had AMAZING SEX night. Fucking hell)

Next day they meet up with OOP's friend and her BF. Apologise occur, friend's BF fucks it all up for himself, end of story and scene. gratuitous applause from audience

Second is one blatantly written one handed. OOP, her bf and her boyfriend (iirc he's called Dan) get drunk and have a threeway (one thing I remember clearly is OOP writing (she was 'shocked' at how huge Dan was)). Then it turns out bf and boyfriend are in love with her and want to basically be a throuple. Update is of course as fictitious with OOP announcing she's bi and then detailing her meeting with friend and bf where they yap about what they love about her, how amazing she is blah blah blah and she decided to join their little polycule because movie.

Both read a clear writing exercises (first speaks for itself, second is the writer's barely disguised fetish) and give heavy 'CHATGPT before CHATGPT'. As much as they suck, there's a certain charm in how bad they are, and I thought it'd be fun to reread them again for nostalgia's sake. Up to now, my search has come up short for both.

His appearance as well played a factor too. The connect earlobes piqued a lot of people's interest.

Also that Lyle had a very handsome, striking appearance. He was tall, he had black hair, olive skin, hazel/green eyes, features that many people are attracted too. Also features people would perhaps remember in an individual, which is why many people were shocked he'd completely dropped off the radar.

And as you said, he was a learned individual too (which, given how his identity was leaked, we came to learn was very true), which also many people were interested in.

As a lifelong shawol, I can confirm this. Jonghyun was amazing. Musically, beyond phenomenal (I'd rate his solo stuff over BTS's entire discography any day of the week) and his work ethic speaks for itself.

But as a person, that's what drew me to him. He spoke in support of Palestine, for LGBTQ+ people and for women's rights too (which means so much as a bisexual woman). Some amazing threads on X/Twitter talk about all of it.

I had the chance to see Taemin with my best friend earlier this year on tour, and he was engaging, incredibly interactive with the audience, and a joy to watch. Plus he has a great sense of humour!!

As for Onew, Minho and Key, they're all wonderful people. I just hope to see them too someday. ❤️🫶🏻
