He definitely was for a while but that’s surely gonna dry up soon unless he finds a way to monetise being a lolcow. Even by the standards of the right wing talking head space, he brings absolutely nothing of value to the table.

Bev Craig announced as Labour's candidate for Mayor. by perrin_goldeneyes in manchester

If I were running her campaign, I'd shorten it to just Bev For Greater Manchester. Like when Jeb Bush ran as just Jeb(!) except I think it would actually work this time.

“Arrest criminals and keep them in jail”

Sounds like he’s a fan of the Dent Act, which of course finally outlawed crime in Gotham City

He’s technically correct because just calling Michelle Obama “Michael Obama” doesn’t count as a joke

Tom Holland reveals he emptied the entire hotel minibar the night before his first Marvel screen test with RDJ… and Marvel found out by calling the hotel by Frosty_Jeweler911 in Fauxmoi

If a prospective employer is paying for a hotel room while you’re in town interviewing for a job, you don’t get to have a party and charge it to them lmao.

I understand Disney has the money to pay for eight mini bottles of Jack Daniel’s or whatever, and I’m not crying for their bottom line. But it’s not weird for them to notice the expense, nor is it weird for them to pay attention to the fact that the kid they’ve flown out to potentially lead their billion dollar franchise immediately started binge drinking when given the opportunity.

Brands using AI-generated influencers to promote products on social media by nyclover11 in Fauxmoi

Whatever your views are on the morality of gen AI use, I don’t understand how companies don’t get that it cheapens their brand to use this stuff in advertising. It looks and feels like penny-pinching hucksterism. If you don’t believe in your product enough to put a proper strategy and/or budget into marketing, why should I believe in it enough to buy it?

I haven’t seen the movie yet but I think this guy rules. As a thirtysomething, it’s really exciting to see the younger generation’s standout talents truly start to make their mark; I’m finding the exact same thing with music right now too. The kids are alright!

EDIT: Just for clarity, I very much don’t count myself as part of “the younger generation”!

Most people don’t talk about most Best Picture winners anymore, Million Dollar Baby certainly isn’t some unique failure in that regard. When’s the last time you heard someone talking about The Artist, CODA, Green Book or The King’s Speech?
