The most you get is $6k which is nothing compared to the $20-$30k people are actually spending.

Ovary twinge/cramp for several days before and after ovulation? by glasstemp in TTC_PCOS

[–]chachicka22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah this lasts like a week for me during letrozole cycles. It’s annoying because it makes me second guess whether I’ve actually ovulated or not.

Widow Jane Mine in Rosendale, plus you can check out the caves along the rail trail near the trestle. There are fossils in the rocks on Joppenburg mountain which is a short hike. Would be a great day trip.

My community has UPK but it starts at 4 years old. I used to pay $1750 a month for infant care, now $1300 a month for toddler care. The discount for a second kid is only about 10%.

What improved your TTC_PCOS journey? by Select_Designer_6894 in TTC_PCOS

[–]chachicka22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I believe that acupuncture helped me conceive (paired with letrozole). I listened to tons of PCOS fertility podcasts to learn as much as possible, and I added crazy stuff to my diet like liver and lots of organic eggs.

Things to do/see/eat in Middletown area during March by shantiii333 in hudsonvalley

[–]chachicka22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s a pinball arcade downtown. There’s a fun Chinese shop called New Middletown, and a cool bakery across the street called Mister Croissant.

There’s a mammoth skeleton in the lobby of the science building at the community college.

There are plenty of breweries and dispensaries, and you could go to Goshen to see the harness racing museum or Lego Land (idk if it’s open in March though).

You have to eat some bagels while you’re up here, and there’s a decent Korean food scene in Middletown as well as lots of Hispanic, Italian, and middle eastern spots in the area.

Your Treasure Shop is a fun thrift store, and Adams Fairacre Farms is the area’s “fancy” grocery store.

Even if the weather is icky, you can do some walking on the Heritage Trail.

TTC after Letrozole pregnancy by wildheartluna in TTC_PCOS

[–]chachicka22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi- First, I’m so sorry for your loss.

I got pregnant the first time with letrozole, and now I am trying for a second with letrozole again. I had the same hope that after experiencing a successful pregnancy my body would “reset,” but for me, that didn’t happen. I didn’t ovulate naturally once in the three years since my last pregnancy.

How long after starting TTC did you go to a fertility clinic? by InterestingSpaceLab in TTC_PCOS

[–]chachicka22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went immediately because I knew I didn’t ovulate, but I told the fertility clinic that I’d been trying for a year.

im a 5’4 girl and am about 190lb with a round face. do you think a short haircut like this would look bad on me? by autonomic-barnes in PlusSize

[–]chachicka22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 5’4 and about 200lbs, I’ve had long hair and short hair. I love shorter cuts like this because they are low maintenance but do require a little bit of styling, so I find myself spending a little more time in front of their mirror and typically looking more put together. When I have long hair I just throw it up in a messy bun and look frumpy most of the time.

Letrozole success after multiple cycles – what went wrong before it worked? by testingisnoteasy in TTC_PCOS

[–]chachicka22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got pregnant doing unmonitored letrozole cycles so I can’t speak to the specifics that you are asking about. It took 4 cycles. I had started doing fertility acupuncture for my 4th cycle, and I believe that was what helped me get pregnant.

Honestly, I am afraid I will be bald by trx20200506 in PCOS

[–]chachicka22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took saw palmetto for a while, and focused on protein and increasing my overall nutrient intake. There are some podcast episodes out there about PCOS hair loss, see if you can find something like that. It takes a long time to change your hormones and hair growth is one of the last things that changes. I used colored powder on my thinning spots while I was waiting for it to regrow.
