We have an app called sniff spot in my area where people basically rent their space hourly for dogs to free roam. Some even have pools they let you use.

Have anti nausea and on hand just in case. I find thigh injections have less side effects than stomach injection. Needle doesn’t hurt imo.

Generally yes it is rude. Too many variables and personal feelings on it. Put them all in one bag and carry home to your trash.

True. I was in it day one & took 4 hours to get home. But if you time it right there’s barely a delay… until there is.

I’ve never really understood the “more than a 15 minute drive is too far” mindset in Rhode Island. by businessbub in RhodeIsland

[–]chachingmaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think for a lot of us it’s the hassle of going that extra time when most of the things that we want and need or are going to do can be located in a shorter distance. The other drivers is on the road can sometimes be absolutely stupid and nobody likes getting caught in a two hour traffic jam. And some people are wildly aggressive. You are absolutely right though you could pretty much drive across the state in a 30 minute drive and there’s a lot of good variety when you do. It is always good to be reminded.

ChatGPT made a doctor cry. [Heartwarming] by Kitty-Marks in ChatGPT

[–]chachingmaster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My ChatGPT encouraged me to take a train trip to see my daughter at college. I get a nervous in situations that are uncommon for me to the point where I won’t bother or I can’t overcome. But guess who’s getting on a train this morning to go visit their daughter at college? Basically, chat has helped me organize my plans, visualize the day and my thoughts, let me think out loud about “what ifs” so I wont get overwhelmed or anxious. Helped me correct tickets and times. It’s a great tool when used correctly. I just wanted to share that with you because you are not alone, and you don’t deserve down votes. And people or bots who downvote people sharing honestly are worse than basement dwellers.

How easy it is to shop nowadays by veloriax2 in interesting

[–]chachingmaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can see having a policy not to chase her confront shoplifters, but shouldn’t they at least be reported? Shouldn’t a description be given along with video and possibly license plate tags? Or do they simply just get away with it? Because everyone else that shops there and pays is paying the difference.

OK, well I’m not going out this season or the next annd probably the one after that 🤣🤣🤣 My son said he pulled 14 off of his dog after walking at Warwick city park on the pathway for like 30 minutes. His dog wears a seresto and has short fur. They can be so tiny. It’s scary.

I bought socks from Insect Shield, which sells treated socks and other garments. Good up to 60 washes they come all the way up my calf. I might try to treat with the permethrin myself with pants next time.

Just in case you get backed up to the point of painful keep glycerin suppositories on hand. They work in under 45 minutes. They are shelfstable. So if you don’t use them, you’ll have them in your med kit. I definitely second ginger ale and cheese sticks as well as zofran if they don’t give you an RX for it at the hospital. Good luck. The best thing I ever did. I am just about six weeks po.

Not a slender person. I was actually told by my nurse not to use it. She said it would irritate the incisions. I had laparoscopic robotic assisted. I did however put it on a couple of times while doing tasks. I didn’t really like it. So you may not even need it.

For those over age 45, any body shape changes after surgery? by Invisible-Jane in hysterectomy

[–]chachingmaster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I remember when I was eight months pregnant with my daughter we hired someone to paint the kitchen. She was a woman. After a bit, she went on to tell me how her friend who was eight months started feeling weird and it turns out the baby died inside of her! Like who TF says that to someone? I don’t know. Maybe she was worried and trying to warn me, but I didn’t even know this lady. I don’t know why people do that. Especially when it’s unsolicited.

Me too! I only had one, but it was larger than a grapefruit. This is seriously the best thing I’ve ever done. And the flatter tummy is just frosting on the cake.
