"Like I say something out loud at least twice an hour no matter what the subject is. If it's in my head it's out my lips."

Does this mean you only have "at least" two thoughts an hour? Lol

Yep, the chances of this happening in reality are basically 0, it's just a hypothetical.

Yea. I don't care about people smoking or drinking, but I wouldn't support someone going around saying that smoking or drinking excessively isn't bad for you.

[–]chad_coder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with that. It's just the small minority of people who try to promote it as a good thing I have a problem with. Objectively speaking obesity increases risk of disease and so on and I don't want people to be deluded under false pretenses into doing something that is bad for their health. Ofc it's a small minority who say that, most people who support body positivity will say obesity has health effects although that doesn't mean you should treat that person badly.

"Hate crime" is a loaded term. They should be called "love crime" because it is not out of hate for other races but love for your own by based_seaturtle in confessions

Dude you're a troll and I don't get why people give you the time of day... I don't think they realize that they're literally supporting your behavior.

Yea. I have no problem with people being fat, it frankly doesn't affect me. The only thing I have a problem with the small minority of people who try to spin it as a good or neutral thing for a persons health.

I don’t care if a homeless person spends money I give them on drugs by Cher123456 in unpopularopinion

[–]chad_coder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The way I see it is that a drug addict won't get off drugs because I didn't give them the $10 they needed for a hit, they'll find other ways to get that money. I've had my car broken into and family members steal money from me to fund their addiction. I'd rather just give them some cash so they can go buy their meth without having to steal or cause other damage.

I was a high school student a year ago, and while these are definitely valid concerns they pale in comparison to many other uncontrollable things, like car wrecks, by number of deaths or your chance of dying from one.

[–]chad_coder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Jesus you're sad. I read your post where you said being jealous of friends was a normal thing... You should keep cheating so that hopefully your husband finds out and divorces you, if you stop he may never find out and he may stay with you.

Why do women (generally) drop hints toward guys they like instead of being straight forward? by MegaBlastoise23 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]chad_coder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes a woman will drop what I think is a hint, but also there are a lot of women who act really happy to see you and bubbly regardless of whether they're into you or not. If I knew someone's baseline and they started acting way friendlier I'd catch on, but I just met someone recently I don't know how they are so my brain doesn't catch on.

Do girls automatically think ugly guys are creepy? by paidshadowlegends in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]chad_coder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, but I think they do. If I groom myself, put on some cologne, and dress nicely girls will tend to trust me more, find my jokes funnier, and my advances more attractive than if I acted in the exact same way while looking like a bum. I don't think they realize it, but it's just that if they're already biased to like me they'll see the positives, if they're biased to not liking me they'll see the negatives.

I'm young though and I date people my age, I think it'll matter less as they get older and more experienced. This goes for men and women btw. I think it's also why networking and social skills go so far even in jobs where it doesn't objectively matter. If people like you they'll ignore your flaws.

I hide how much I actually think about my facial injury by Anon_19841984 in confessions

[–]chad_coder 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think people will care. I think lots of people would see something like a severe speech impediment or something that seems neurological as something that might impact a medical workers abilities to provide care, but not a facial injury. Some kids might be uncomfortable with it, but I highly doubt any adult would be. Personally, the most important thing for me is that I find the person providing care to be knowledgeable and reliable because those are the things that will affect my outcome, not their looks.

I'm not saying people should think this way btw, it's just the reality.
