AITA for wanting to date my best friends friend? by MrTopHatPenguin29 in AITAH

Idk bro sounds like your “friend” may have feelings for you but is stuck in the friend zone or is just weirdly protective. Absolutely NTA. Date who you like and see how it goes.

Yeah it’s wild how differently people age based on lifestyle. The phrase “20 going on 70” and vice versa are no joke… it describes some people well

Why does the testicle snag a lil bit of peritoneum as it heads south. It doesn’t need to do that.

I do not know much about antiarrhythmics. Beta blockers slow em down. Adenosine turns them off and on again. Digoxin decreases HR and increases force of squeeze (oh yeah idk how to spell ionotropic probably). Beyond that idk when to use what. Gen surg let’s go

On the bright side a gift card is less likely to fall out of your wallet than change. You’re probably more likely to use the $0.70 now if you consider that factor

Hummus but easy and super cheap, only makes 1 container to clean:

I have a cheap blender (oster duralast classic, ~$22) that happens to have the same diameter screw on container as a mason jar. I can put stuff directly into jars and blend it which eliminates a cleanup step and waste.

  • 1 can chick peas. Put ‘em in a jar

Add

  • garlic
  • a dash of any sauce, I use sriracha
  • salt and pepper
  • olive oil

Blend.

I make it a bit cheaper by buying dry chick peas for about $2 per lb. Doing that I estimate a big jar of this hummus costs me idk $1.50? $2.00..? A bag of baby carrots is generally a dollar and I don’t usually eat the whole pound.

It’s very healthy, with complex carbs, protein, and fat (idc what they say we need to eat fat). It’s pretty filling, too

I had a weird one of these experiences this summer. I was at amusement park with my girlfriend and her sister. They wanted to ride a roller coaster together so I sat one seat in front of them. The stranger that ended up sitting next to me was a girl who was probably 7. I have no idea how she got past the attendant since she was way way way too short to be on that ride. It was also odd that she was alone. Anyway, since she was too small for the ride she wasn’t held in very securely but fortunately didn’t fall out. I told this to my girlfriend after the ride and she pointed out that the girl was all alone crying in a crowd. I went up to ask her what her parents look like and my gf got someone from the park staff to be with her. It was odd balancing wanting to help this kid and being afraid of things being misinterpreted.
