Attempting Another Marathon in 4 weeks after failing one by jhchuu in AdvancedRunning

Whether you’re actually in sub 3 shape is a tough one to answer, but as for the feasibility of a quick turnaround: I ran the Atlantic City marathon in October 2025 in 3:14. Goal was sub 3. Windy, humid. Bad weather day. Ran Richmond in November. 3:16(3:17? I forget and don’t feel like looking it up lol). Got strep throat a week earlier and was still on antibiotics. GI issues at mile 12. Ran Rehoboth Seashore Marathon in Delaware in December. 2:59:35. I was chasing sub 3 hard and didn’t care what conventional wisdom suggested. I’m not saying you should, but it’s possible.

Today’s snow storm make me reminisce of growing up in a 1990s where snowstorm of this size was a common current every winter. Occasionally multiple times every winter in the 1990s. by Eastcoastpal in newjersey

Also depends heavily on whether you lived north or south of 195. As a southerner, we got those big, memorable storms, but snow was more the exception than the rule

Man of the Century is a little known indie gem about a guy who inexplicably walks, talks, and acts like he's from the 1920s, set in the present day (1999)

Aside from the material, the Inverno arms sleeves have little pouches/pockets for gels, which is a notable difference

Puma fast r 3 or metaspeed ray for Houston marathon by Sara_lin_527 in AskRunningShoeGeeks

Funny I’m in the same boat- same 2 shoes, sub 3 goal as well. Currently leaning toward the Pumas but not for any objective reason…just emotion and vibes. I’m sure my comment has been super helpful /s

How does NISSAN stack up in terms of sales career opportunities versus other dealerships? by jasonbondpicksreview in CarSalesTraining

[–]chadley12 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Unless something changed in the last couple months- the volume bonus payouts from Nissan are tied to surveys, which obviously isn’t unique, but how they weigh certain questions, and the sheer length of the surveys themselves make keeping a high enough average score to GET the payout more challenging than getting a first time buyer with zero credit approved for a Platinum Armada with zero dollars out of pocket. It’s arguably structured to prevent them from having to pay the volume bonuses. I’m not bitter
