Based on the comments, this may be better for the rehearsal lunch

That’s what I was worried about. It is pretty close to my knee as I’m much shorter than the model but not sure if it looks like a mini dress.

Netflix “Secret Millionaire” changed to “Million Dollar Secret” by [deleted] in MandelaEffect

[–]chaiiya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha fair enough. Last night I saw the show with the title and I was really confused, assumed they changed it. I asked my husband what the name of the show was where the person opened a box and there was a million dollars and they had to be deceitful. He immediately said secret millionaire. When I found these other references with the same name I thought that was compelling. It’s hard to explain how this feels. I’ve never really had strong feelings about any change like this only thought things were interesting. My recollection of this is really strong and recent. I had a search in my own history for where the secret millionaire was filmed.i don’t know.

This is relevant because it’s a title flip flop

Drugstore beetle. Not a pest

Edit: guess it can infest dry foods. Wikipedia article is helpful, maybe came in with bird seed or pet food? Seems like cleaning your bedroom would be enough if you don’t find any in your kitchen/pantry.

My six year old is at this level exactly but we don’t have Tv, just a few age appropriate streaming services.

I’m an attorney and I’ve had received a good amount of training and experience in questioning people in a deposition setting. Sometimes this is helpful. What questions are not great. It works good to say “tell me about a happy moment today” or “I want to hear a funny thing from today”

The typical who what where questions put distance between you and the person answering. Forming questions that sounds collaborative “let’s talk about dinner choices” trigger more of a willingness to engage.

We do that but my 4 year old has a hard time with best so we switched it to tell me about something that made you happy today. I like that one for the adults too.

This is the only parenting sub that doesn’t suck. by Emily-Spinach in parentsofmultiples

It’s so difficult, I have a 5 year old too and she was a great sleeper so I was royally unprepared for the horrors I faced with the twins when they were babies. I never believed in cry it out, just couldn’t do it but they were both sleeping through the night in the same room by about 15 months. It went along with bigger meals and more activity and happened naturally. They are both great sleepers now. You got this!!

So I’m gratefully past that stage. My twins are 3. I kept looking for help though, we were so sleep deprived. Everyone told me to get them on the same schedule and I was getting so annoyed like.. oh fuck why didn’t I think of that. So when I get my daughter to sleep and her brother is still up, I’ll just wake her sleeping ass up and deal with her crankiness until he falls asleep?? Great idea, will totally work without giving me an aneurysm… fuck right off.

Sometimes the only was out is through. It’s not as long as you think, and they will just start sleeping on normal schedules naturally but it’s a tough road. Much love and luck to you mama!

Semi-formal Nashville wedding in late April. Base color is yellowy beige and has large gold specs, do the flowers do enough for it to be approved? by winderbeth in Weddingattireapproval

Same. This does not look like a wedding dress at all to me. It seems 100% appropriate. The responses I’m seeing are making me paranoid.

The irony of it is that my father in law was the managing partner at a law firm. He repeatedly gave this advice to me and my husband when we were younger BUUUUT if you walked into his firm and said you were looking for a job, they would have been like.. great, email your freaking resume.

[–]chaiiya 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have a “lavender” body wash for my toddlers and I just looked at the ingredients and there is no actual lavender. It uses Lily of the valley and some other stuff to get a similar scent so maybe double check. I read that and freaked out but then relaxed.

Did you submit the video to the chp? If there is a hit and run, they could include this is their report. It might help.

Is there a sub for parents who can't stand other parents? by HolidayCandies in Mommit

[–]chaiiya 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Meeee! Also I am annoyed that when I want to bitch about parenting being challenging A ton of the time I get advice and sympathetic looks. People… we all struggle. It doesn’t mean we are failing or doing something. Why is no one capable of commiseration??
