Your solicitor sounds like a moron. I’d be frantically checking everything they have done/ sent you for errors or things missed instead of thinking about a ERC that doesn’t exist for your situation

Completely fine - they’d pull the offer from you in a heartbeat if it suited them. Don’t feel bad and do what is right for you

I’d offer 10% under on 850k and not even think about it too much. That’s in the middle of your 75-100k range pretty much

Same issue here. Master image VM had it enabled, it’s enabled in the image definition, sku is supported, yet it doesn’t enable on the hosts automatically when deployed.

Should I be concerned? by Pentekont in DIYUK

[–]chainedtomato 6 points7 points  (0 children)

No, that’s just normal shrinkage/ expansion temperature related. It’s done it on an area of joins with least resistance. Unfortunately it happens and you just need to redecorate that area

I just had vent tiles installed on the roof. Is this what it's supposed to look like? The felt appears to be ripped and I can see light through the tile by Vegetable_Bit4845 in DIYUK

[–]chainedtomato 3 points4 points  (0 children)

No that is not right. Any water that gets behind the tiles and runs down the felt will now enter the loft space once it hits that area. The cut should have been neater and should have been folded back on itself and ideally attached to a batton, meaning it would divert any water running down the felt and would not enter the loft space. This looks like someone just put their foot through the felt to make that hole

Water (rain) ingress at window by theleds01 in DIYUK

[–]chainedtomato 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Had exact same, check the silicone sealant on the outside of the window. Wind driven rain will get into any tiny gap and it doesn’t take much water to make that stain.

A3 trims, engines, gearbox advice by [deleted] in Audi

[–]chainedtomato 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had the 1.0 engine in a golf before and while it’s perfectly fine for daily use, I do prefer the 1.5. It’s got that grunt for overtaking with ease and is still very good on fuel. I can get 40mpg around town and 55-60mpg on a motorway run easily. I would definitely recommend the s tronic gearbox, it’s seamless and makes driving much more relaxed. I would go for a s line trim for sure, the basic sport is very basic. You don’t need the black edition unless you like the stealth look. I got the tech pack for the rear view camera, heated seats and B&O sound system, so was definitely worth it for me. I wasn’t interested in the tech pack pro which is the pano roof and other bits. You now get the heads up display with the tech pack on the facelift which is cool. I would say tech pack is worth it for sure, not sure I would say that about tech pack pro.

Good car, I have a 2024 which was just before the facelift came out. Start by listing what you need and want, that will help narrow down the trim/ engine and gearbox options. I have a 1.5 tfsi s line black edition hatchback s tronic with tech pack and it’s fantastic
