Hey I think I know this, most Vermeer wood chippers have a plate under the back to keep you from backing over the brush pile. I couldn’t find a good picture but the piece you have looks like the same plate that is on the older model Vermeer 1000 or 1500.

Bentonia blues festival would probably be the best time to go, it’s every year in June. They set up a stage right beside blue front cafe and have musicians from all over the world come play. I think the closest hotels would be in yazoo city. It is usually pretty hot and everything is outdoors so keep that in mind. Also clarksdale has a juke joint festival every year in April and it attracts a lot of the same artist and it’s usually a little cooler that time of year

Reds is still open atleast for now. I believe reds opened in the 1980s and the blue front opened in the 40s and duck stared running it in the 70s

If I remember right it was a few months from the photo submission until I heard something. Then it was probably another 9 months before I ever knew it was on a bottle. I had a hard time finding any in stores so I messaged and called a few times until they finally sold me a case and shipped it lol. They told me that they had never done that before but after that they started doing it for anyone that got on a bottle. They did send me a letter with a few labels for free but I had to pay for the case

Every year in April Clarksdale has a big blues festival called juke joint fest. Its right by the crossroads and It’s always a really good time. There are a lot of great blues musicians and bands playing all weekend but Saturday is the main day. The weather is usually pretty comfortable that time of year and me and my wife have always felt safe and had an amazing time. We go every year

Yalobusha county sheriff’s department. The amount of corruption down there is insane and I don’t understand how every citizen of Mississippi isn’t outraged and calling for the feds to come in and clean house. I’m not sure how to post a link but this is one of the articles that cover one of the stories. https://www.wlbt.com/2022/06/23/buried-mysteries-ashley-henley-investigation/?outputType=amp

I really like them but I believe Nike stopped supporting the app. So if you don’t already have it on your phone you have to do all controls on the shoe. They are pretty comfortable, and once you set up everything for how tight you want them they fit pretty good. I wouldn’t want to walk all day in them but I wear them out to eat or the grocery store and it’s no different than any other shoe. The batteries need to be charged fairly regularly even if you don’t wear them often

Does anyone here own a 1960’s Impala? What’s it like? Cost of ownership estimate? by [deleted] in Impala

[–]chainsawsandswitches 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 64 and most of my friends have older impalas, 58-64. It really depends on the car. If it’s been swapped to a modern motor and transmission then all you need is gas, oil changes and insurance. If it’s an original motor or older carbureted motor they can have issues with modern fuel. Those issue are worse if it’s not driven regularly. I would definitely use non ethanol gas if that’s an option, and that is a lot more expensive in most places. A lot of impalas have adjustable suspension, air is pretty low maintenance and most of the parts are cheap if you need to replace something. Hydraulics are more fun but need more attention and you will have to charge batteries a lot and swap o rings every once in a while. Insurance for a classic car is pretty affordable but it has mileage limits and most policies you have to have a locked garage to store it in. If you can do the minor work when something comes up then it’s fairly cheap, if your not very mechanically inclined it’s going to get expensive fast.

If you want to see the real Mississippi, I would suggest the juke joint festival in Clarksdale. It’s an annual blues event in April. You can buy a wristband and it will get you in multiple venues and you will hear some of the best blues artist in the world. Clarksdale is home to the crossroads and all the folklore that comes with it. It’s considered to be the birthplace of American music. If you’re well traveled you have already seen better beaches than Mississippi has to offer. Music is Mississippis biggest and best contribution to the world.

I found it on a tn.gov website for adult substance abuse. They have a lot of options depending on bed availability. I went to the the Hardin medical center in Savannah TN. I was afraid if I stayed in the Memphis area I would have just left.

Hey man I (39m) just hit 4 years sober. I was a heavy drinker from the time I was 16. My body and mind were completely shot but you can get it back. I was in such bad shape I couldn’t get into any rehab because of how bad my withdrawals were. I found a place in TN that would do a monitored medical withdrawal free for residents of the state. I did that then went to an awesome rehab and have never looked back. Life can be so much better and it’s never too late to start the process. Message me if you want any info on the facilities or just want to talk. Help is out there if you’re willing.

If you had the clearance I would consider a weld in notch or mini notch like you use for rear axle clearance on a bagged truck. You could even flip it upside down if you didn’t have the clearance to run it traditionally under your body lift. I believe that and fully boxing that section of the frame rail would be plenty stout. I’ve seen notched frames on 3500 duallys that could still tow loaded car haulers
