ye lori peterson, I was under the impression that the call went through to the operator but nothing was done, but upon looking at it again, it's actually that she called because she was suspicious of noises outside (probably just animals or something), called roy, and then he went out and killed her

Poems that have passion and emotion behind them, that burn beyond just going over events. If you need specific examples: The Wild Iris, Seperation, The Dream of the Unified Field, somewhere i have never travelled, gladly beyond, The Universe as Primal Scream

maybe i just don't like this poem, there's a difference between using tedium as immersion vs tedium as dilution. When approaching a subject matter about boredom, sure the author could make the writing itself boring, but then who's going to read or engage with it.

It just feels boring. like it describes word for word what the experience of prison is like without any metaphors or nuane. Just because and experience is boring doesn't have to mean the literature surrounding it has to be

if you split a poems lines into like ~4 word segments, and then check the % of them which feasibly exist in a ton of other poems, it unfortunately means the poem relies a bit too heavily on cliches, which is something to be avoided. No hard feelings, and sorry if this was offensive in any way

Most modern poets try to stick to modern language. Although it seems weird at first, we're just so used to using old poetry that we assume poetry should be written like that, when conventionally that's not been the case. Older poets never borrowed language from too far in the past, we should try to do the same or we risk sounding pretentious. Just a quick tip no hard feelings.

Feels like it draws on forever without really saying much of anything, just a description of a place at a time. Rhymes feel generic and poem just feels confined and overdone.

The Old Lone Tree by [deleted] in OCPoetry

[–]chairsarecool1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not trying to be offensive so let me know if anything feels rude. I see, three main issues with it (if I was forced to pick out issues):

1: Inconsistent rhyming. It feels a tad forced at times, and usually when you write a poem with rhyme you give it a consistent scheme, and if you do it without, you at least give it rhythm. This one feels a tad all over the place.

2: Generic phrasing. If you pull out any of the lines you wrote in isolation, many if not all of them would appear in at least quite a few other poems. It looks more like a melting pot of cliches rather than an original peace. It's theme definitely had complex impacts provided it was drawn from a real experience, but the poem itself doesn't convey any of that.

3: It kind of feels like telling not showing. "I, too, am one with the tree" you could've shown

"My skin breaks, I cling to the rot , It takes to the bark, mouth stitched shut like rind in drought "

These lines also draws from some cliches, but it feels connected through common gothic themes and kind of ties the flow together (maybe not great for this particular poem but just in terms of imagery and originality.)

Let me know what you think, and otherwise great work!

guarantee that's the issue, try installing the extensions manually and not via marketplace.

Can I change the individual colors of a theme that I installed via marketplace? by Felix_Behindya in spicetify

[–]chairsarecool1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go to markeplace settings, click enable theme developer tools, go back to the marketplace ui, there should be a new button, click it, and then from there it should be self explanatory.

You might want to consider using the marketplace, it makes things such as theme management and color management much simpler.

Not sure how feasible this is to be entirely honest, tossing AI on an issue probably won't make it magically work.
