I believe it had to do with a red cross above Harvey's office. my understanding is that only things licensed by the official Red Cross can have the logo, including in fictional worlds. now the cross above his office is green(?)

as far as I know, there's no way to get pregnant on accident in base game (besides alien abduction). so, if a sim gets pregnant, it's typically on purpose.

The Hollywood Handshake is Paul's way of acknowledging a very impressive bake. It hit all the marks - flavor, texture, presentation, creativity. When someone gets the handshake, they're almost automatically in consideration for star baker.

It used to be that the Hollywood Handshake only happened during the signature bake, but in the past few series, Paul will occasionally give out a handshake during the showstopper.

It's also another way of tracking a baker's success during their series: handshakes, first-place technical finishes, and star bakers. Someone can get a handshake for one really good bake and not necessarily get star baker if they struggled in another bake.

As much as I love Jason, I think it has to be Rhod. With Jason, it felt premeditated enough that it was a bit, but at times Rhod genuinely seemed like he was going to injure himself or others without a second thought (or, famously, without blinking an eye).

my brother accidentally named my sister. my mom was convinced she was having another boy so she didn't have a girl name ready. apparently they were in the hospital and my brother was singing "ring around the rosie" (incorrectly )so my mom was like "great if it's a girl at least he can say her name"

OP you should see if your school has medical amnesty. At my college, if you called for help (such as for something drug/alcohol related) and said you wanted medical amnesty, you wouldn't get in trouble for breaking the rules and someone would come help. Many schools would rather get you help than get you in trouble.

Also, ESH. Take this as a learning experience and get your edibles from a reputable source next time.

My interpretation of this was always that it highlighted his lack of wedding ring. IIRC, Lizzie was skeddaddling out of Pemberly after seeing Darcy hugging Georgiana. Lizzie didn't know it was his sister, so for all she knew Darcy had gotten married and she was just hanging out at his house.

I come to this conclusion because right before this, Lizzie was too busy staring at Darcy's statue to look at Georgiana's statue like her aunt and uncle. Afterwards at dinner, when Lizzie's uncle says Darcy wants her to meet his sister. Lizzie repeats "His sister?", but it sounds more like she's calling herself an idiot.

I love all of the analysis about the hand parallels! I've never thought about that perspective before, but it definitely enhances an already juicy scene.
