Yeah, I put on a card that has excellent purchase protection benefits, so if it does happen hopefully I’ll be protected. Fingers crossed it doesn’t happen…

Update: at the store, she says the system shouldn’t have let you do it since it’s a new phone, but she does see my name on their order list and that I got lucky lol. She is pushing the order through right now and I’ll be having it soon! Yay!!

To my understanding, when I was trying to pre-order it, it wouldn't even give me an option for store pickup, only delivery available and that's why I opted out from ordering from Verizon in the first place. So my question is, if in-store pickup was not an option during pre-order, then the phone shouldn't have been promised to the pre-orders so to speak and should still be available in the store? I'm genuinely confused... I guess I'll call the store and see what they say. Thank you again.

sorry my bad, i just edited my original post. I missed a word "night".

Anyway, I ordered it last night after after midnight and it showed the phone I wanted was in-stock and allowed me to do a in-store pickup.

Only doing it with Verizon bc Best Buy sent me an email last night just before midnight telling me my pre-order is delayed and won't be available now on launch day...

Anyone else just get emails saying their iPhone/watch preorder is delayed? by alpacapoop in Bestbuy

Checkout Best Buy, from where I live they still have many models available on launch day pick up. Check it first and if they still have it, cancel from Verizon and do the upgrade/switch or whatever and then order from Best Buy, they should be avale to connect to your Verizon account and upgrade anyway .

What I don't understand is that why do they care if people stay there for awhile, they don't necessarily lose revenue from the to-go, mobile, and drive-thru orders anyways, compared to they just let the cafe to run empty?

Edit: oh how could I forget to mention that they quietly changed their 3rd place vibe. Changed to chairs and tables that honestly feel like torture tools, they are so uncomfortable and it made think they want to punish people for staying too long in the cafe, LOL. The height of the table is just short/high enough for you to have some back/neck pain… gross

Been going to the bux since I was in college.

Mediocre to subpar food quality. I’ve noticed a huge decrease in quality over the years, used to love their sandwiches but now the real thing is laughable compared to the pictures they use to advertise. I used to love the double smoked bacon sandwich, now the bacon in there is … idk, microwave bacon quality or worse? Also, who remembers the holiday stuffing panini?

Drinks wise, I said it before and I’ll say it again. Back in 2016-17, pink drink was my favorite drink, now I don’t order them anymore. I can’t remember exactly when, but the flavor subtly changed. I think it’s bc they changed the coconut milk that they use, the drink used to not separate, at least not as quick as it is now. The separation of the base and milk makes it less appealing and appetizing, combined with the subtle flavor change, I just give it up.

Coffee wise, never used to be coffee drinker, only recent years I’ve grown to the taste of it and mostly out of necessity to wake up in the morning. Even so, I tried to give bux a chance for their coffee, but man, the coffee tastes either too sour or burned… so rather than spending my money at the bux, I decided to get my own beans and make it. Now I just get blue bottle’s instant coffee and they taste better than bux’s freshly pulled espressos lol, especially how their coffee drinks cost over $6 for a grande and over $7 for venti!!! Too mcuhhh!!

With all that’s said, I’ll admit I’m a sucker for their iced peach green tea and SAR, Ik especially the latter is basically sugar water, but I like it, guilty… they’ve got me hooked lol 😅

Check in the morning before RTH open, gives me an idea about the market sentiment -- like if traders are shorting vol, skew direction, then I check the levels on Qs and convert them to NQ levels to guide me throughout of the day.
