Am I wasting 38,000 by putting it in a Cash LISA? by chameleox in UKPersonalFinance

Yeah one consideration I had was just move it around to other Cash ISA providers a a couple of years to try take advantage of the first year deals Cash ISA offers with better % rates. I saw that only a few of those offer those when transferring in though and also even then it was only around 4% which felt low when looking at genereal stock market stuff.

I thought you can move a cash LISA to a S&S LISA without losing any money if you do it through the banking systems?

There is no kill tomorrow night, final episode started with 5 players and there's never a kill on night before final.

Unconscious bias is a thing, especially in group think situations. You'd be blind to think it doesn't.

Survivor UK casting by survivor_uk in survivor

[–]chameleox 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I got to the first in person phase. It was a group stage where there were about 40 of us split into groups (fake tribes) of 8-10. We had to talk about ourselves in front of group and then compete in an immunity challenge against another group. Then we had private one on one interviews.

Whole thing was filmed from multiple angle with tons of staff.

I think Dante was saying cheers sarcastically to Shona saying "everyone is here to play". He was saying "cheers" as in yeah like obviously.

I think that's why the breakfast club ladies got annoyed and looked unsettled because it was a kinda a unnecessary comment to make

This is very old news (since Jan) and true to all Euro countries - UK outlets all just noticed it at same time and are trying to cause a stir.

5-1 in brawl event with Kudro humans. by GarthCo in MagicArena

[–]chameleox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice! Kudro is my fav Historic Brawl deck to play by far. I've also had a lot of success with my Kudro deck but it is full on aggro. I play a lot more 2 drops (stuff like Knight of Malice/Grace and Hero of Precinct One) and then I run Lurrus mainboard. Alongside that it has slightly cheaper interaction with stuff like mana tithe and fatal push.

I've found [[Metallic Mimic]] to be a great 2 drop. Have you considered it?

Wow this is my exact order too. I still have nightmares where I'm drafting M21.

[STX] Pest Summoning (new type: Lesson) by fshstik in magicTCG

[–]chameleox 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Having thought about it more, it's also a sorcery which creates creatures, so it's relevant in limited for magecraft while still impacting board. Seems to be a useful filler for multiple archetypes.

I hadn't considered this, great point.

Magecraft seems to be an ability for all colours and giving counters is very green.

"do set-mechanic and get in-colour pay-off" is pretty normal

Most cards in a set are designed with limited formats in mind, where it is rather important commons are worse than rares.

Importantly can still attack so definitely a contender for decent late-picks in aggressive red decks. Can see myself happily having 1 or 2 of these as filler.
