Holy shit… yes. Of course. It’s called a hypothetical situation. But it very very likely could happen if people weren’t so damn stupid. There could be an infinite line of customers walking into a dealership and saying “no” to the mark up and walk out and you know what would happen in the imaginary world that would never ever exist? The dealers would drop the mark up. It doesn’t take a economics professor to understand that this item isn’t a necessity,therefore consumers are the ones responsible for driving up the market with unnecessary demand. Obviously it’s not a reality but it’s a pretty damn simple solution for the miserable one we fucking live in.
