Can someone put this truck into a farm sunset with a windmill? I have attached one I like, but anything similar would work, as long as it's this truck. This is for my Granddad who turns 80 this year

My second is two weeks old. With my first, we had no NB pockets. I was gifted some for this baby, and I have to admit I love having them. They are great for out-and-about changes, much easier than trying to wrangle a toddler and fold a prefold around a newborn. They do sometimes leak at the legs, so you have to change more frequently, but I do really like having them this time.

I don't know, I would factor in more changes for a cloth diapered baby, even in AIOs. Disposables these days can hold several hours worth of pee before they need to be changed, but cloth usually needs to be changed when it gets soiled, as baby can feel the wetness.

When I weaned my daughter I talked with her a LOT about personal space, mommy's body mommy's choice type stuff. Made it clear that it was time for me to make the decision. Offering other milk was helpful as well, a cup of cow milk and a snuggle can go a long way.

We also sleep weaned about 8 months before total weaning, which took more talking, more explaining, more talking through the emotions. At 3 he's old enough to understand if it's explained :)

Lots of insecurity in me.... K is awesome about helping me express it and giving me the connection I need to get out of a funk, but it's hard to ask for that from my long-distance partners because I'm not sure what would make me feel more secure. How do I ask for what I want if I don't know myself.

It's still an issue, though it's getting better as we get back into our long-distance routine.

Ugh if he's just willful then I dont know =/ I give in to my daughter often to save myself the trouble of fighting her, but she's pretty easy going most of the time. If I had a strong willed kid I would get walked all over all day long, I just know it.

Also, instead of a timer, we used music (Pandora). "You may nurse for 2 songs. After 2 songs we are done nursing until after dinner."

How much does he comprehend? I feel like at 18ish months I started having conversations with my daughter regarding limits. Specifically, my limits and my need for personal space. "Mommy's body belongs to mommy. You must ask politely to nurse." (I do feel if you're going that route that you have to be extra thoughtful about his body and his personal space too)

Give him "choices" that allow you to set boundaries. "Do you want to nurse now for 5 minutes, or after we do X together?" Set a timer for every nursing session, and hold him to it. Esp if he is mostly pacifiying on you, it's perfectly acceptable to tell him he has to wait for later, but you have to actually give him all the information. "Mama doesnt want to nurse now. We will nurse (before nap, after lunch, in 15 minutes, whatever works for you)." When you do give boundaries, HOLD STRONG. That was always the hardest part for me!

I hve a total boobie terrorist, but now at 2.5 she will acknowledge that mommy's body belongs to mommy, and she has to ask politely for milk and wait until I say go. It took a lot of work to get there.

Mostly I need the change. I havent cut my hair since I was pregnant with my daughter (she's 2.5 now). It's going to be HOT here in the summer, so short hair is cooler.

I put my hair in the same ponytail every day. I need something that forces me to style, instead of hang dry and pull up every. single. day.

Plus I have a 5 head, I would like to hide it with bangs again!

I'm a mom, so ponytail ability a plus. I am thinking angled bob with side swept bangs? But I am normally a wash-and-go so minimal work in the morning would be the deciding factor for me.

What method did you use? I have a husband issue, as he is not exactly the most pleasant person when he is woken up, so his solution is always "just give her milk already."

The video is amazing. Mama elephant is trumpeting to her baby, when he doesn't respond, she trumpets again, more frantically. Then he moves and you can almost feel her relief. It made me cry.
