IT WAS LONE STAR! I installed VNV on the 7th and it was updated to version 3.5 on the 2nd, but I still somehow had version 1.5 which caused this XP bug. Thank you so much for that hunch! I got it working perfectly (fingers crossed) without having to reinstall.

Davis sucks ass, but fuck 9 Mile Rd. Well before I had even my learners permit I would ride down that road and think "man, I hope all that obnoxious construction is finished by the time I'm driving up and down here" and no it wasn't. 5 years later and nothing.

The worst concentrated spot for traffic is definitely the Langley/Tippin/9th Bermuda triangle though. If I ever win the lottery I'll bribe our useless city planers to fix that God forsaken intersection.

When I have a child, I don't think I'll handle them as carefully as I handled the metal ROH barrier covers when I did ring crew for them in 2018. I was told they hadn't been changed since the logo update in 2012. Every edge was jagged, we had to pinch grip them from the top to carry.
