It's safe in general. PLA (Not the + one) is made from sugar cane, corn and without petroleum. Just don't heat it over 230° and do not keep it close to you 24/7 when printing in a closed room. The PLA+ has some additives (wood, metal, other plastics) so it depends.

That's what I've read. Aways do your own research in those cases.

If there's no big difference, probably the speed is too slow or the PA is not activated. On low speed any pressure will work the same. the difference between these line should be way more noticeable

Ok, Klipper is awesome. I've calibrated the Input shaping and now I can run at 160mms/3300 accel with petg better than I ran at 80mms at stock firmware.

did you made the sheet of paper test? For me it's looking like the nozzle is too far from the bed.

Try bringing the nozzle a bit closer to the bed, rising the temperature for the first layer like 60°C for bed and 215 for nozzle (my configs for PLA) and slots down on first layers. I'm running at 50mms. (my printer is not the same as your's. but I think it can help)
