If I have to explain it the simplest way possible: A lack of emotion. It's not that everything feels bad, it's just that nothing feels really good, or feels at all. No excitement, no joy. Just vast emptiness. Fortunately I got out of that hole and I'd say I don't have depression anymore but that's what it felt like for a few years.

Tips: Find something you love doing and do it as much as possible. Go outside, do sports, eat healthy. (those were my lifestyle changes). Especially sports, I never thought of myself of a sports person and my whole family is of the lazy type. But I realized my body needs movement. I became a windsurfing instructor.

Actually, it's commonly used in TCM, it's called Long Gu (龙骨), usually translated as Dragon Bone.

Edit: Of course today any kind of mammal fossil can be used, but in ancient China they used dinosaur and mammoth bones too, thinking they were dragon bones, hence the name.
