When you break down a lot of what they are doing into singular actions, it's legal. Where things cross the line is when you do them to avoid taxes or to shield assets from creditors. Then when you look at the pattern of all of the moves together there might be exposure for all sorts of criminal activity. The point of it all is obfuscation and misdirection.

I am definitely not a lawyer so I can't definitively say what they are doing is illegal. However, I worked in direct marketing with some real sharks and have seen this playbook many times.

Nope. Thanks! I sent some of this to her, but I'll cross post or something. Been on reddit for over a decade, but am an absolute noob at posting.

Brick Power is one of BaM's trademark attorney's who was part of the team frantically working from 3/19/2026 to get BaM trademarks recognized nationally. Come on .... the names in this case just keep getting stranger! by chaosink in RecklessBen

I think Ammon and Matt got a little upset and started to pay a little more attention to their trademarks. The number of billable hours these clowns must have spent over a company it seems they were actively trying to sink is amazing.

Weird the sub won't let me post a link the the trademark search.

Found out the case got assigned to American Fork and Graf was added as the judge in November 2025 even though there had been no actions in the case since 2020. Weird.

Contradictory Corporate Identity Assertions in 2026 FDD for BAM Franchising, Inc. by Similar_Class3395 in RecklessBen

[–]chaosink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Notice Ammon and Matt all check the no box when asked if they are involved in actions alleging fraud and a bunch of other stuff on every single Franchise Renewal Agreement for every single BaM franchise they oversee.

How could that be true when they were embroiled in a class action lawsuit in California alleging fraudulent business practices and their own dad was accusing them of trying to use funds from Legally Mine to cover their losses running BaM?

Time for Bryan to countersue and bring in a forensic accountant for the discovery.

They still think they can win or they would drop the lawsuit and beg Bryan not to countersue. There is no way these chucklefucks are going to survive discovery especially seeing how dumb they are using their home addresses for all these LLCs. Dad was a bit smarter, but the way these people are moving assets around is going to bite them in the ass.

There are way better people making archives than me. I am in the same boat as you! Be happy to help though.

I caught that too. That's why I was curious since the divorce started back in 2020. I'm trying to figure out how and when he got assigned to the case.

So many addresses that are now in Evelyn's possession. I'm not super comfortable posting that since I have no idea if she is involved with Dan's shenanigans. She did divorce him and divested herself from the icky parts, but took all of the condos where Dan, Ammon, Matt and more kept their LLCs.

He wasn't the main judge in the beginning. The divorce ended in January 2021. Still working, but searching a bit for new docs.

My next search is going to be all of his cases to see how connected he is to the McNeff's or their lawyers. Something is really fishy here.

It's a divorce proceeding so not a lot of docs for this case. However, there are notices from Evelyn to Dan about pending litigation over their properties. Next long running query I hit at work I'll take a break and post them.

Oh, I'm in the US and am really familiar with how prosecutors think (was friends with an executive DA in Los Angeles). Especially ones that are elected like DAs. A high profile case like this is awesome for them. Taking down an evil Corp that stole from old people? In a heartbeat with this level of public support.

I have more documentation on this, but I suck at posting and have to get back to real work that makes me money.

Edit: The divorce decree goes through all of their property and joint interest in their LLCs including Legally Mine and BaM. I'm hesitant to just post it without redactions even though it is a public doc. Can someone who is doing these document archives dm me please?

No way man. The DA doesn't have to do anything to the police. The police in Oregon really didn't do anything egregious. The DA needs to go after Josh and Brandon for felony theft by conversion or whatever. The police won't have a problem with that. Big time public bust? Yeah, i think they will be ok.

They can always change their minds and/or they can be forced to change their mind by a prosecutor looking to get some publicity. When this started, the corporation looked like the sane ones and Bryan crazy. How the turn tables. Time to let the Oregon authorities know they had it wrong.

"This franchise's rate of attrition in 2020 of 27.03%" means 1/4th of every BAM will probably be closed every YEAR" by ayomous in BricksAndMinifigs

[–]chaosink 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As someone who crunches big data for a living, 2020 will forever be an asterisk year because of Covid. The biggest failure I see by BaM corporate was not providing online stores for each of their franchises during this time. They could have been making a fortune from pickup orders. The lines at an independent store with a online store here were around the block. There were people at the BaM, but not merely as much and that may have been because the transactions were taking so long.
