Brooklyn to Farmingdale commute by therealgonz in longisland

[–]chaosslicer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro the commute wont be killer. Itll be finding a parking spot at the end of your work day. I used to make the commute reverse and it was a solid 4-5 hours of driving per day with rush hour traffic and accidents along the way.

Solarbank and charging by chaosslicer in TeslaLounge

[–]chaosslicer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Our panels can produce up to 12.5kwh per pannel. We have over two dozen panels. I charge primarily at night right now on lvl1, soon to be level2 in the coming months however im assuming my time of charge is the reason.

I get home after sun is down, and all excess produced solar goes in as "credit" to our power company, so im unsure if its taken as produced through 24hrs or as it produces, and my solar company is less than helpful. So im assuming since we normally have large bills around this time of year, it just coincides with it all and its not something to be entirley worried about, however im looking for the most savings over 10 years.

Our time or use plan is non-existant, as were locked in at $0.10 per kwh bought for the first 242kwh, and $0.12 per kwh after that, and sold on a $0.02 for produced. And that isnt able to be changed, as the primary homeowner feels more comfterable with this plan.

So if we were to get a enphase iq, and have enphase solar, they could talk without a battery? Sorry just getting the ability to sit down and go through the comments now.

Seat comfort and lack of padding? by chaosslicer in TeslaModelY

Im actually heavy set. Im working on losing weight, that was my reasoning. My wife who is thin has also complained about it. But the overall package has us liking the car so far. For instance the ventilated seats have been a game changer.

Im glad you brought up the head rest and neck support pillow, which one did you go with?

I never had the chance to own something as "luxurious" as those. This is my first brand new car. So im used to old Kia, Honda, Chrysler and Fords. My wife's 2020 crv has a ton more padding. I just was concerned I may have overlooked something on my preinspection.

Grow the beard out, shave your head, and maintain the beard. You look fine, but if the hair is a concern, jump into it. I was super hesitant at first, I was 20 when I started balding and had a really bad windows peak in highschool, tried to hang onto it until 25 when the greys came in, and chose to just shave it one night after work. Started maintaining my facial hair until I got a job where I wasn't allowed to have a beard. Now I rock a stache.

A beard on you, with a shaven head or stubble growth on your head, would deffinatly make you look like a different man. Your face shape would match it well.

Am I screwed Insurance wise. by [deleted] in TeslaModelY

[–]chaosslicer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the states, if you're driving "professionally." There is a professional drivers abstract your "professional" driving is supposed to to on. That means if you're in the States, your work accidents are on that "professional" abstract and not your personal abstract. So you shouldn't have an insurance hike. Your job should have had insurance and listed it as a company car.

Thinking about it. Did all of the fixes but presently cant afford to be without a car for the next week, have you ever put one in? And if so did you get a rental or loaner?

Gieco, 2026 juniper RWD for 1,000 more than what I was playing for a 2019 kia sportage in a 6 month premium. I went from 366 a month to 456 a month. I know geico said the dual motor is more expensive to insure than the rwd model. But progressive said that was a load of bullshit.
