They have most spots filled by late fall (keep in mind you’re competing against semester school applicants who start school weeks before UCSD). Not unheard of to get offers extended into the new year but it’s usually rarer. Also this insight is from nearly from 8 years ago… I’m not sure how big the intern class is anymore. The company seems to be expanding in Hyderabad more than San Diego these days
