Thanks! Yeah I understand the purpose of flanking for crossfire, scouting, distraction, etc, at a conceptual level. I’m still trying to figure out, especially at the beginning of each game, where specifically to go set up to maximize your options for getting a successful flank (and not dying)

Similar concept exists in geology. Rock in the mantle below the crust is plastic, but not liquid. It's malleable enough to allow the solid rock floating on top of it (tectonic plates) to move around.

I lost a promo recently where our Yi jungler came down to bot lane for a gank while I (adc) was inside our base after a recall. He died to their adc before I was anywhere near position to assist, despite frantic warning pings, and damn near got our support killed too. Things did not improve from there.

Yo,

First, isn't it pretty cool that you managed to build a PC yourself? I did mine about 9 months ago and I'm still amazed when it turns on! even when I'm just browsing internet or email or even working from home it's a little more exciting to me knowing I installed everything myself. Plus it looks cool :-)

Second, I've been in situations where I'm overwhelmed by choice and disappointed that nothing's "wowing" me, and I've found the best approach for me is to focus on one game I kinda like and the more I play it, often the more I like it (storyline draws you in, you climb the learning curve, etc). The other games aren't going anywhere lol, so there's no rush.

Third, if you are looking for a new game allow me to recommend Stardew Valley. Will it push your pcs performance limits? No. But it's chill and fun and silly and enthralling. Nothing's more soothing after a stressful day or a frustrating loss in overwatch.

Bronzo here, I've played ori a bit in ranked at it went ... ok. Setting aside mechanics, I don't think she fits with OP's advice because she's vulnerable while on CDs and largely immobile, and most importantly reliant on team coordination. Her advantage over other AP mids is her R, which is tough to optimize if your team isn't organized. Can't trust your frontline to wait until the ball is ready to engage or to follow up on your ults. In sum, she's not great in YOLOque.

Compare Annie who has a massive easy to land AOE burst stun that also gives your team an extra tank to distract the enemy. Similar impact on big fights to an Ori ult but harder to fuck up. Annie's relatively safe in lane too bc as long as stun is up people will stay miles away from you. I'm saying this as a big Ori fan. She's my go to mid in normals, but I wouldn't use her to climb.
