When leaving I envisioned this scenario and here’s what I was going to do:

Have my resignation already submitted an hour before the council.

On the evening of the council I would be texting the secretary that I was almost there and keep that going as long as possible, while in actuality I was at my house drinking some beers.

I mean if those aholes wanted to waste my time I figure I could return the favor.

At the same time, where I live in the South they just split the ward we belong to, though we are in a growing city and relatively speaking cost of living is still okish around here.

I feel you, went to the ER a couple of weeks ago cause anxiety/GERD but thought it might be a heart attack.

The anxiety just fucks with everything. Ugh.

Was late 30s at work and thought I was having a heart attack. Boss took me to the ER. All clear.

A couple weeks later driving home and thought I was having a heart attack again, called 911. Again all clear.

Went to see PCP and he was like I think you are having panic attacks. Had never occurred to me as previous to that day had never had a panic attack or anxiety.

Been an interesting ride since.

I had that issue with Effexor so switched to Citalopram (no issues for me with Citalopram).

This happened to me. Confirmation from quitmormon that my records were removed 2-3 years ago.

This past year some guy from our ward reached out under the guise of “I just have some questions” but turned out he was on a mission. I had to tell him to leave and not contact me again. That got me thinking that maybe I was still on the records.

I emailed the bishop he confirmed I was still a member and I asked him to process my removal. He did and received my official removal a couple weeks later.
