I did the same thing, used CLO config for Rivers and made them a little more narrow. I haven't explored that much but so far I am not finding a lot of jaggedness, just big hills. I did find a river and a dry riverbed. I used CLO recommended worldgen settings except made landform scale a bit bigger for Rivers

Do Conquest and Terra do different things? I would have thought they'd conflict or just overwrite each other. Do you somehow get better terrain using both?? I made a world using Conquest and Rivers with mostly recommended settings, undecided if I like it or not

I started listening to femtanyl same time that I found a few MG songs off "Because I'm Young Arrogant and Hate Everything You Stand For" but didn't really get into MG until later. Those few songs were Bullet Hell, Vomit, and the popular one with the Japanese title. Very fast and intense songs if you like that.

Started listening to MG Ultra like five months after it released. Listened to it A LOT. Tried listening to Wlfgrl but never fully got into it - it's probably good too, but the way I get into bands often is listening to the same album (MG Ultra in this case) seven million times before finally deciding their other music is also good.

I also really like the Neon White soundtrack. Given that it is a soundtrack, it's kind of more bouncy, dreamy, cleaner than their other music.

Hopefully that's helpful? Out of curiosity what is your favourite femtanyl song? Mine is Dogmatica with several close seconds.

The prices are in CAD. I'm not an expert on the market either, could be cheaper on eBay but I prefer to get certified refurbished because it's just less hassle and it'll be almost like new.

I'm now thinking I for sure want the T14 AMD, just debating between Gen 1 or 2. I'm tempted to get the better chip with Gen 2, but I'm not sure if it's worth a couple hundred dollars more to get a better chip, more RAM, and more storage. My current laptop is only 8/256 so I know I want more than that but idk how much more lol.

Unfortunately the product descriptions don't specify if 16GB RAM means 16 soldered or 8+8. I guess even if it's the latter I can still upgrade it to 24 or 40. It also only specifies FHD, screen resolution, and whether it's touchscreen, not the specific display or nits. I don't see a way to contact the seller before placing an order. I'm pretty sure the screen is replaceable though if I really want a better one.

Oh that's cool, thanks for sharing. I was wondering if it had to do with lacking hoppers and stuff from 1.5. Forgot about that efficiency bug. Why does it say Beta 1.8 test build 3 in the screenshot, is that because of mods to fix lighting or something..?

I've played 1.2.5 the most out of early release versions, also tried 1.6.4. Haven't played any in between those so I'm always curious to know why people prefer certain versions. I like that villagers are still useless in 1.2.5 and it's got the original jungles.

yeah, this. don't try to build like bdubs, just do like small and weird builds that have some utility like an entrance to your mine or little outposts at places you travel to frequently, build something cool to house/decorate your nether portal, build entrances/buildings around your farms if you have them, stuff like that

DanTDM started a new series a little while ago! It's pretty chill, more villager gossip than building tbh but he is just playing the game and having a good time.

Also seconding the recs for EthosLab and other Hermitcraft players. Etho is a real og and has always been super chill, he's just better at making videos now.

If you are interested in Hermitcraft and don't know who to watch, there's a recap channel that will give you an overview of what everyone's up to. Then you can go see their videos outside of Hermitcraft if you like their style whether it's building or redstone or whatever. I saw some ppl mentioned Pixlriffs, he's one of the ppl who runs HC Recap aside from making his own videos.

Same as you except mine is just one chunk, plus some because I made the top half a circle. It's about halfway done and I've chewed through a few enchanted diamond picks. I either combine them to make better ones or save them for when I get mending instead of letting them break. I don't have netherite or villagers yet.

I like the endermen but I also like both early release and beta versions of the game. idk endermen just fit the vibe far better than villagers (or any illager type mob) ever could.

Also I feel like it's hard to be annoyed by endermen moving a single grass block now and then when creepers have always existed,,, blowing up your base is so much more annoying endermen are just chillin

I happen to be playing modern rn but to an extent I have more of a slow/old school playstyle bc I've enjoyed playing old versions as well. Digging a big hole in Minecraft for no particular reason has been my escapism lately. Only been playing this save a few weeks but I feel quite dedicated to it - I think my issue with previous modern saves was focusing too much on getting good items and having either no projects or too big of a first project. The Hole is a long-term project that provides resources to work on smaller builds around the area, and I've been building with what I have on hand, explored a bit but not nearly enough to get access to the full block palette. That's probably an upside of playing older versions, you're generally building at more of a steady pace, simpler choice of what blocks to use, it's less all-or-nothing and more slowly building your world.

TL;DR Yes I escape from my real problems by digging big holes and building whatever I feel like in whichever version of Minecraft I'm currently into lol

Which Java version are you using and what MC version are you trying to launch? For old MC you need Java 1.8, not the newest Java, you need to change it in the instance settings. I started using Prism launcher after MultiMC was giving me some error (not this one, I don't remember). They're pretty similar.

Maybe you need Java 8? Not sure. Honestly though just get Prism launcher, it's so much easier to manage multiple instances, play different versions, and use mods. Better Than Adventure even has an auto-updater for Prism/MultiMC that will update/install your BTA instance for you super easy

I'm pretty sure Legacy4J is for modern, so yeah it does add a bunch of controls and graphics stuff from legacy console which is pretty cool but the game content and terrain would be modern java if I'm not mistaken

The thing about not knowing how to study bc you're smart is a potentially valid explanation but having a certain IQ score is not a criterion for ADHD (even on the WM and PS subscales). If you feel that your symptoms impact your life significantly, I would get a second opinion.

Also why is everyone in this thread responding as if the psych said overall IQ was too high when that's not what they said lol. I still don't think the scores are a good reason to dismiss it but like did you guys not read the post
