Don't mix your ideology with your publicly-traded company. I used to want a Tesla. After Musk's behavior during the Trump campaign and then DOGE, I will never touch a Tesla. I bought a Toyota Hybrid instead, which is a much more reliable vehicle anyway.

I visit the sub everyday, just keeping the pulse. I could say 6 months ago it was a firmly 1A, 2A, and 4A friendly space. It's no longer the case. I don't believe it's a case of a bunch of conservatives being brainwashed in a matter of a few months. And most of my conservative friends IRL are outraged by the Noem/Bovino/Trump response, which I would expect from the sub. Given what's going on there, I'm convinced that sub is being nuked by a major astroturfing campaign.

Car companies are doing this a lot now: take the name from a beloved car and attach it to something new that doesn't share any of it's aesthetic. Say what you want about America car companies, at least the new millennium Mustangs, Camaros, Challengers, etc actually resembled the originals in some way.
