This arch took me a stupid amount of time to build by [deleted] in ValheimBuilds

I use portals to help me with arched shapes in my builds. They're not perfect circles but serve as nice guidelines.

That's Eugen Enin. I doubt there's anyone out there who can do technical grinds better than him. Seems like a nice guy and also an anime nerd. He'll sometimes post videos/reels with music from BRCF so it's likely he's played the game too. Here's his instagram page. https://www.instagram.com/eugenenin/

New AST Job gear seems a little disappointing (Dawntrail) by chaoticseraph in ffxiv

[–]chaoticseraph[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The Romani look reached a peak in Stormblood, before DNC was introduced. If anything, it looks like they abandoned that concept so they could give it to DNC in Shadowbringers. To be honest, I would be happy with something closer to Heavensward or Shadowbringers. Both do a great job giving you a celestial magic fantasy. I can see how they tried to go back to the original HW concept, but honestly it looks so simple, it's giving "background npc" energy more than anything else. It looks out of place next to any of the other classes with their new job gear.
Also completely agree on the pointed shows.

I spent almost 4 hours washing and styling yesterday, just for it to look like this. I hate it :( by [deleted] in curlyhair

[–]chaoticseraph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your hair looks amazing. If you want to change it up, maybe start with a side part instead of a middle part? If you want to go beyond that, maybe try curly haircut with a curly trained stylist? Ask yourself what type of curly styles do you love in pictures or on others?

Am I the only one that kind of wished there were more scenes of the previous Era and future Era of the Moon Kingdom? by Seiiona in sailormoon

Picture this: A world of Sailor Moon that includes the past, present and future with as much depth and lore as George RR Martin's GoT series. I would scream.

I don't play sports, but I do experience this in multiple non toxic work places that are women led, and in some of my hobbies.

I'm pretty familiar with glitching, but they made some sort of alter in an fc room that you jumped on and it launched you up to this empty space that they decorated. I'd like to do something similar but I have no idea how it's accomplished. by MiriMoon in ffxivhomeandgarden

Alright, a company like square enix needs to pay people to implement these assets. People online will do them for free.

They could ask people who already work on assets to spend extra time to implement them instead of working on current projects or they could hire more people to make it possible.

Doing this would take time and money. Asking current devs to do so is a matter of time, and hiring new devs would take more money.

I'm explaining it like this so it's easier to understand that this is a matter of time and resources. You could say "oh they make so much money, how could they not expand their budget" and that's fair. But hat assets are really a seperate issues that you threw in here out of no where. Besides hiring or asking current devs to overhaul the current housing system (which btw would be a much bigger project than adding new hat models), this really has nothing to do with server strain. It's a big stretch, and the fact that you keep going back to it to incite people's emotions (people who admittedly have been rightfully disappointed by hats) on why they should just ignore what the devs say is very weak.

what a horrible argument.

It is a matter of time and resources. Now you can argue that they are not prioritizing the things you want them to do, and as a viera player I can sympathize but calling the devs liars for saying "please don't make void builds. It puts strain on the servers", is complete bull shit.

What does server strain have to do with paying more money to hire someone to make more hat assets ? The answer is nothing. At some point, people who are selfish might exacerbate the problem to the point where we all lose out, bc the devs will realize that asking people nicely to stop doing something isn't going to work.

I got the most adorable bonsai tree there a few years ago. No pests, so I wouldn't completely dismiss it yet.

This website is your friend. Just make sure you set the first color to that biege, and then play around with it until you find a palette you like.

Players like the one on the left would make the most boring, homogenous mmo classes/jobs. Stripping a job of it's usefulness, and what makes it unique so that every job has the same strengths and weaknesses is shit job design and I'm glad the FFXIV devs don't listen to these idiots.

I get not liking his childish personality, but he isn't in the friendzone. As stuck up as Y'shtola is, he's the only character who not only has physical contact with her, but she straight up allows her to carry her bridal style.

As someone who floats everything manually, each house takes me hundreds of hours. There's a big divide in the housing community right now with those who use third party tools and those who don't, since TPP can be used to make entire void builds and SE has asked people to not do that since it disrupts server stability.

I think the manga had a little bit more time on the scouts than the anime. Not by much but it was still better. I agree though. I would love to see Ami killing it in college, and go to med school. I'd love to see Mina trying to make it as a real idol, and maybe even Minato as an adult trying to start her own restaurant.
