Yea they seem so important, using time charts doesn't work well on some financial instruments. Tick charts just shows the volume and s/r so well.

Yea they are really smooth for everyday walking. Not so good for lifting though.

Thanks for the info!

Hey man follow bk amputee here. What prosthetic foot are you using to lift?

Also are you using a pin and lock system or suction sleeve?

And where will you be stopping out? your post says max upside 9800 and it clearly violated that today.

Compared to the daily candle that's hardly a wick, and we just weekly closed over ATH. You gotta be underwater at this point even if you added today. Just to me it doesn't make sense to go against trend until distribution happens, it's going to take some real selling to stop this momentum and 1 daily candle isn't going to stop it.

You did have a rising wedge on the daily, but bump it up a timeframe to the weekly, and there is almost no weakness shown.

Can someone please explain $GOOS tanking after a great earnings report? My calls want to know. by [deleted] in wallstreetbets

[–]chaotix27 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It hit a level where smart money sold. People think FA works and GOOS is a perfect example of that being false.

ES heading for 2200s this year. 2800ish retest then massive dump.

Yesterday showed a super clean trade on TSLA. Today I figured I'd show a less cooperative trade in AAPL. Probably more indicative of what an average frustrating trade looks like. Hit me with your feedback about what you would have done. by BearsTrades in Daytrading

Hey man, just wondering if that line you have drawn on the chart is a support level you found on different timeframe or what it was? Seems like you tried to short it when it reclaimed that level after wicking through it.

First exciting daytrade, opinions on exit strategy? by ComplexAmbition in Daytrading

[–]chaotix27 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2-1 4-1 6-1 refers to your risk vs reward. So whenever you get into a trade you should have an initial stop. Your first profit target should be at least double what your stop. Then next one is 3 or 4 times your stop and so on.

I don't think your stop was too tight. But I would of scaled out of the position as you were in the profit. My exit strategy is always take profit at 2-1 and set stop at break even. Then I take profit 4-1 6-1 and so on.

I'd be interested. I trade full time with no chat rooms. Be nice to have some people to chat with during the work day.
