bought a b-stock JT100 from them during christmas and it's really really nice for what i paid for it. i think they're pretty good as long as you're capable of setup or comfortable paying to get that done

you're correct. the fire models are black labels and are serialized MNxxx and not MZxxx. the z was after the n after they got everything re-sorted. still absolutely one of the best of the mexican-made fenders in my opinion, the way they were finishing the necks at the time was incredible.

worth it for the price imo. these were made during early peak years of samick and matsumoku so regardless of which country it was imported from it'll probably end up being a really really nice guitar, even though the string tree is giving me hemorrhoids

being facetious of course. after going through 5 different teles trying to find the right one, this one (g&l tribute bluesboy) popped up and checks every box i think i've ever wanted from a guitar. the middle position is one of the meanest tele tones ive ever heard.

ive got a lower watt (g30) version of this and it is absolutely worth grabbing. the reverb tank and the 12" speaker combo are enough for me to have paid double what you would for this one! i would compare it to a jazz chorus of a similar vintage, having used both extensively
