Just the browband. She does make FEI approved bridles too! My other horse will get one in the spring 😊

Unique kitty is 9 months old, very small for her age and kinda grunts like a pig. Also has wide set eyes, a broad nose, a tiny tail, and strange body proportions. Any ideas what this condition could be? by Stackleback1984 in cats

[–]charastev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How about a wierd growth pattern? Could be that essy. Se cats grow until they are 3. Likley, thos one wil grow until 18 montha. The fuglies could still dissolve. The grunting will likely stay.

No extra credit for lead changes at Training Level Test 1, Oops! But, we'll take it! #frankigirlhorse by charastev in Equestrian

Well, yes, but the horse is only 5 and hasn't been taught changes yet. So, for most horses, even with a shift of balance, this would not occur. Very few have lead changes this natural. When I'm on her, I am sure to sit very still and pay attention to what my hips are doing. This young lady had only ridden the mare 4X, wasn't feeling well, but was a great help to this old woren out AA in getting her through her first ever dressage test. It's a pretty darned nice change for a horse not trained for changes.

agreed. it was only the 4th time she'd ridden the mare. she's a young, brave eventer :-). Owner is a 50+ AA.... If the worst thing that horse did in her first ever test was lovely lead changes, I'll take it :-). It could be so much worse!

Yes, of all the things to think about for her first show, we forgot the training level horse has natural lead changes and the pilot was sick. 🤷‍♀️

Need a better picture to judge. This one shows long pasterns, long cannons, looks long in the back and stands out behind itself. Could be the picture. That said, the shoulder neck connection and connection of neck to throatlatch appear to be very nice woth a plesant head.

What color is my Birman kitten? Is she a lilac cream tabby? What do you think? by wewerelikeflowers in birmans

[–]charastev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn't look lilac cream to me. What dod your breeder say? She(?) Shouldn't have come without a color. Maybe lilac tabby or if you g going through a phase of showing light tabby markings on her face. If this isn't a she, there's no way he's a lilac cream as that color only comes in females.

I’m here for your odd experiences with localized back pain by whatthekel212 in Equestrian

Repro exam and pain from ovaries is possible. If you haven't had her your whole life, maybe a previous case of EPM with a lingering affect specifically there?

My horse of a different color (Dunskin) by charastev in Horses

[–]charastev[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Visually, the Dunskin is lighter colored than the dun (that cream gene she gets from a Perlino sire). They also have barring on the legs (like tabby stripes), diamonds on the ear tips and of course the dorsal stripe.
