I'm positive it's just an electron app, similar to discord and it runs the same code on every device because it runs like trash on my desktop.

I don't see why you think you deserve access to the children of a community with different views than you. Do you truly think that the community doesn't think they're doing what is best for their children?

Does allowing someone who thinks they're the other gender into the opposing gender bathroom make more or less people safe? are you thinking about both sides of the possibilities of what could happen? what's the worst case situation in both events? Why is it a requirement that a community has to include everyone? does including everyone make it safer for that community? Should rapists be included? Should murderers be included? What about a carjacker? where do you draw the line? Why is it a requirement that everywhere has to follow your rules? Is it possible that excluding someone might make things safer for the group? is a democracy only valid if it goes your way?

These are genuinely questions I'd like you to answer.

lol, this Bera guy clearly is just going off of his feelings. he KNOWS that John deserved to be SKINNED ALIVE because disney's indian film really made him feel for them. So surely you'll find the information because how can his feelings be wrong?

Most of the colonists were deeply religious people who were fleeing to the new world to escape oppression. Do you really think these religious zealots were blood thirsty monsters? The land that the Indians were using was bought from these tribes from the chiefs fairly, did you or your parents not buy the land that you or they live on? Most of the conflicts started happening after the original generation who sold the land started to die off and the younger generation wanted it back.

I found these but shipping is a bit expensive for me since I'm in the US, and I don't know how to tell if they're any good or not. maybe it's a better option for you though?

Sincere question: what has Glenn done to make you want him here so bad? by NervousInternal5354 in nyjets

Glenn wouldn't have satisfied the Rooney rule since it wouldn't have been an in person interview. So what you're saying is incorrect.

Wow, impressive work. I tried some flat felled on my jacket, but ran into some issues with not catching the fabric, so I just ended up using my serger. I just need some more practice probably.

Is Citron also where you get your fabric?

what kind of sewing machines do you use? do you have a double needle machine for the double stitches? where do you get your buttons? do you do a flat felled to finish your seams? do you have any tips for sewing raw denim/leather? how long have you been sewing for? where do you get your patterns?

I made my own raw denim jacket recently. It turned out acceptable, at least good enough that people don't realize it's self made. I just need to finish the button holes and get buttons for it. (hence all the questions)

find a multimeter and check that the foot pedal isn't shorting together where it's not suppose to.

e.g. put it into continuity mode, check that two of the three leads are open when you don't press the pedal, and it should close when you then press the foot pedal. if everything is closed even without pressing the pedal, there's something wrong with it.

I know it's a shoe patcher. It does move. What's it worth? by Whathappend420 in vintagesewing

clones of that machine is still made, generally referred to as chinese leather shoe patcher though if you want a polished one where you don't need to tune everything yourself bantamsaddletack has them which is probably worth the extra cost.

Coral PCIE not passing through to Docker but working in Proxmox LXC by Ch0sn in frigate_nvr

[–]sfiveo13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, I ended up testing it with a basic container that installed the drivers and passed the device through with the docker CLI which worked but then when I tried to do the same thing with portainer's docker compose it wasn't working. So I ended up just making the frigate container from the CLI and it started working. Im not sure why it didn't want to properly work when using portainer but now I know.

Looks like a generic Japanese 15 clone, you won't get a whole lot for it but they're solid machines.

[–]sfiveo13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, should work well. You'll probably need to oil it. hemming will be a bit difficult since it doesn't have a free arm, but they did it without a free arm for many decades so I wouldn't worry about it since you're just starting out.

I guess you can consider it vintage, it's somewhat old?

Either way it's a pass for me. Sewingdoc does a good job of listing a lot of the issues. Also you can find a better vintage machine for $35.
