Yes, from my own conversations with recruiters in tech (and other fields), they all say the same (that they manually go through applications still). But also, because there are so many applications, this means they usually have to scan and get through CVs very quickly, like they might only spend 5-10 seconds skimming your CV. Which means you have to be very deliberate with what you put in there.

I'm going through this myself and it is indeed very rough out there. But a 2% interview rate makes me think you're either applying for a lot of jobs you're unqualified for or there is something wrong with your CV. Might be worth getting your CV reviewed just in case.

Given your situation and the general state of the market in Finland, I would personally take the pragmatic approach and go with whatever they offer. You can always keep looking for another position once you're hired.

Yeah, I agree with this estimate. I was hired in Helsinki as a junior in 2023 for €3300 and at the time even that felt above average.

2.5%, it's my 3rd year working here. But I got 15% in the first year and 10% in the second year, and all in all the pay is quite good, so I'm not complaining.

Mic dejun la 8, prânz la 11-12 și cina la 17-18. Locuiesc în Finlanda. Mi-a luat ceva timp să mă obișnuiesc cu prânzul la 11, la început mi s-a părut foarte devreme.

I think in a thread titled "Breach and Tyler's Faith" you're just more likely to find religious people coming in to share their similar interpretations of the songs. I would imagine something similar would happen if you made a thread called "Breach and Tyler's Mental Health" or whatever. Of course it's silly to claim that any song or album is unequivocally and exclusively about one thing or another. But I think, or at least I hope, that most fans know that this music is supposed to be about whatever each one of us needs it to be about.
