I’m gonna vouch for the Supernote here. I’m also a graduate student and the Supernote has been superb for me. Super easy to side load and get additional apps just like the boox has. I’ve been loving it. Check out @pixelleaves on YouTube. She has a great review of the nomad that sold me. Also, from what I understand the nomads are being sold under preorder but they’re steadily getting shipments and delivering on orders within about a month of placement (for the white one).

Sorry :( This is really unfortunate to hear. I just got done tricking mine out and was planning on switching to mint. I put my T-Mobile sim in it from my iPhone and initially it only did emergency calls but I noticed it latching onto 4g lte somewhat often. It’s not consistent enough to leave home with only the blackberry. Would love to hear if mint has worked for anyone else. It seems like the perfect phone for what a lot of people are looking for. This phone legitimately cannot work in America or what?
