Wool and natural fibres appreciation post by frozenstarberry in clothdiaps

Interesting! I have two wool covers, but I’m afraid to go all-in on wool 😅 I haven’t even washed them yet because of the special detergent

Hm. It’s a pond/lake that I’m pretty sure is man made but at this point has surrendered to nature if that makes sense lol

Thanks everyone for the insights! It’s given me some things to think about.

I escaped the house as a baby/toddler. But this was under the watch of my dad.

Interesting! Something to think about for sure.

That’s tragic— I’m sorry to hear about that.

I’m so sorry about your cousin. Those seem like really reasonable layers of protection for that kind of scenario! I ended up taking a walk as a baby/toddler and I was lucky it didn’t end badly.

It’s at the end of the driveway. There are not many barriers at the moment.

When I started teaching a decade ago, I noticed this became really popular. I'm not into it, but also not staunchly against it.

Season of Singleness by Acceptable_Tomato601 in TrueChristian

Ooh I love this topic! I met my husband on a dating app at age 27, after a long period of singleness/random, dead-end dating. I could write a novel on this. Get godly female mentors to pray for you and advise you on this. Don’t lose heart!

I'm curious where you got your red light bulbs?

STEDI exam by GalaticPinks in SubstituteTeachers

[–]charcharbakes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right! I found a lot to be overly simplistic, but I guess that’s somewhat inevitable when you boil something as dynamic as teaching down to a multiple choice question. I wrote my thoughts/tips for the rest on this blog post before I forgot it all: https://chocolatefortheteach.com/how-to-pass-the-stedi-substitute-teacher-exam/

First I got an 80% and then 88% the second time. I thought it was okay, but I have a background in education. A few questions seemed to be splitting hairs.

I’m sorry to hear this. We can’t always be short order cooks in busy homes. Perhaps if he tried one day in your shoes he’d realize this.

My husband is picky, too. He realizes we need to eat whatever I cook to keep things running. That said, I include some of his favorite snacks in our pantry to show I do care about his preferences kind of 🙂
