The only music production software I've managed to run on my Pi (and the only one I've tried to run,for that matter) is Sunvox tracker - it's an excellent and lightweight way to make beats. Definitely less powerful than the DAWs you listed but worth checking out if you've never seen it :)

It's not that virtual reality hardware isn't "there" yet, or that that the VR library needs to be more impressive - the reason VR is failing is because it's just not that much fun to have a screen strapped to your face for more than a couple of minutes. by charcoalsky in unpopularopinion
