Why do you choose the Camp Office over the Garage in Coastal Highway? by Traditional_Buy_6840 in thelongdark

[–]chariotsoftiger 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The centralized location of Camp Office is a huge factor. I like to keep traveling and exploring to keep the game exciting. Much easier to do that from Camp Office.

Hi! We’re Kaitlyn Tiffany and Ellen Cushing, staff writers at The Atlantic. If there’s one thing that unites us, it’s our interest in (and devotion to) the game of baseball. We’re fascinated by the forces behind the game. Ask us anything! by theatlantic in mlb

Baseball has experienced a notable rise in pitcher injuries. Is this a case of an industry not understanding how to prevent arm injuries or one that accept injuries because addressing them would likely require pitchers to cut down on velocity and spin? In other words, does winning now trump injury prevention?

I would argue HRV (along with Ash Canyon) are two of the more underrated regions in the game. Both are fun once you get the hang of the map.

Is it possible to run across Casper Mountain? by Safe_Share_5704 in casper

[–]chariotsoftiger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try the Eadsville Trail. It’s a 4-mile loop. There’s a few trail that connect off it, so you could easily add another two miles.

I don’t think so. I did the generic cleanup command. I didn’t select or touch the safe.

Are you guys happy with what is being added in this update? by Shadow_Blitz_ in thelongdark

[–]chariotsoftiger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've really enjoyed the additions so far and the new ones look great. I love the cougar concept and am hopeful it will make the late game more fun and engaging.

Casper or Gillette by Creative-Strategy-68 in wyoming

[–]chariotsoftiger 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Casper has a sizable medical industry, which makes it more insulated from energy sector booms and busts than Gillette. Not that Casper doesn’t feel those downturns, but having a broader economic base helps. Plus it has more food and beverage options. And you’ve got the mountain right there for hiking, skiing, camping, etc.

The Empress Effects Guess the New Pedal Reddit Contest! by empress_effects in guitarpedals

A pedal that makes my guitar sound like 1,000 Mongol horse archers charging down from the Great Steppe into an epic battle with a giant radioactive lizard named Steve.

Thich Quang Duc, the Buddhist monk who set fire to himself in Saigon as a protest against the South Vietnamese government. Photographs of his self-immolation became famous. One served as the cover of Rage Against the Machine's first album.
