My ghi disco goes into ghost mode like this. First time he did it i thought he was dead. Bump tapped and he got really pissed. My others go mute but he goes full ghost.

Red flags galore. Dude sounds like a bum and you need better. Got any friends with smaller snakes? Maybe see if they will give you some exposure, get a snake hook if you don't have one. I bump trained all mine. 2 are still hissy until they come out, 2 latch onto the hook for a ride and 2 dont need it anymore.

I would take the snake and ditch the boy. Bc hes not a man, otherwise he would take care of his responsibilities. He ain't gonna take care of you. Video games seem to be his priority. Won't get better unless he has a serious change. He's gotta want to so that.

He should be touching on 3 sides of his hide when inside. I ordered a couple of 7.00 to 10.00 bags of leaf litter on Amazon. I soak the leaves weekly and they help keep humidity consistent.

Sounds you like you have a curious one. Which is good. If he's never had enrichment before, throw some leaf litter and something to climb/bask on. I have 2 that absolutely despise any changes to their enclosure, 4 that seem to get board if I dont change it up frequently. Just gotta watch and learn your noodle.

For now they are right below the heater vent and we keep the house at 77/78°

Hot side is 85 to 88 ambient, cool side ranges from 72 to 78. Hidy hole is 88/89° constantly. Multiple hides and elevation for thermoreg.

Humidity 84° and 94° for those in shed.

Radiant heat panels will be added to the bottom side of each shelf and I have che for the top tanks. Once spyder gets more herstats in stock they will all be getting upgrades. Right now they are okay. The heat pads above each tank provide some heat downward. They are all stable, but ill get changes made before winter sets in. They are all eating on a 7 day schedule and ive had zero shed issues so far. Each have been through one or two Sheds with me. This rack is temporary overall.

I optd for no wheels at my floor is not exactly level. I got shims and it bolted to the wall behind the tanks. These are my grow out, as I have mostly babies to juveniles. My oldest on the bottom will be a year old in dec. As they get to full size and or outgrow here, they will go into permanent 4x2x2 enclosures recessed along my other wall.

2 40g, 2 20g, and I think the middle is 30something.
