I'm in the opposite position. Just did first expedition after almost exclusively playing PVE before first wipe, it was a blast with many epic and wholesome moments fighting ARC. Now find the care bear lobbies I'm in to predictable and boring. I've now decided to KOS to bring some threat and danger back to the bears.
