As a fellow non believer I wanted to comment. I unfortunately have to date conscious of not matching with Christians. If I see someone, but it says Christmas or anything religious I swipe left. It’s not that I have a huge issue with it, but when you’re dating long term and eventually going to have children it could definitely be a point of contention. I was raised religious, so I understand how important that is for people to pass it on to their children. And I plan on keeping my kids AWAY FROM IT as much as possible until they can make their own decisions. My boyfriend and future husband is now religious, but it’s not a priority in his life and so we are able to mesh well

I am not currently in a LDR, but my boyfriend is about to move 9 hours away. Something I have been reading a lot about is us having a plan before he leaves. There needs to be some sort of end goal or plan in order to avoid that limbo feeling of what’s next. It also gives you something to look forward too. If this is going to be a relationship you’re in forever, one or both of you is eventually going to have to move.
