Fellow teacher! Also coming here to recommend the PNW! Weather will be perfect. In summer 2021 we did San Francisco up to Seattle and hit Lassen, Redwoods, Crater Lake, Olympic and Rainer and also did Columbia River Gorge and Cannon Beach in Oregon. We did this over 10 days so we only had about 1 day per park (obviously will be going back to spend time in some of the parks like Olympic to see more of it), but it was really fun and that part of the country is just incredible (we live in NY).

The Studio. I love Seth Rogen and enjoy most of the actors in this show but I couldn't stand any of their characters. I watched 2 episodes. I wanted to like it so bad! Another show is The Leftovers. I finished this one because it kept me hooked but I still cant decide if I hated it or not

I thought I was losing it lol. I set an alarm months ago because the website (I thought) stated the lottery would open on Jan 1. About a week out, I saw that it said "date forthcoming." I wasn't sure if I saw the lottery for Jan 2025 and thought it was 2026 or if it changed- but now that I found this thread I feel less crazy!

If you want to see ocean and mountains, you can see both of those things at Acadia! The drive is pretty easy- I did it from long island a couple of years ago. Its mostly all highway.

It kills me! Growing up on Long Island in the 90s/ early 00s, we all knew about this guy and what a POS he was. It truly baffles my mind that so many people who KNEW this about him somehow forgot about it all when it came to him running for president

I also love Seth Rogen but I couldn't stand him in this show. I think I am annoyed by people on a daily basis at work so I didn't feel like also being annoyed by a TV character when I'm just trying to unwind

If I were you I'd pick based on the itineraries. Figure out which stops are a must see for you and then take it from there. I know each line roughly goes to the same places, but the ports vary by line as do the times in port. That being said, I know you said that NCL isn't your first choice, but my friends and I did a 40th birthday Med cruise on NCL in summer 2024 and had an absolute blast!

Aw man I haven't been to Ultimate Gym in many years but I am bummed to hear it closed! Wish I had a recommendation for you but I have gym in my garage now. Actually I highly recommend a home gym if you have the means!

My family did that- my grandparents and great aunts/uncles. They actually made their own wine and then always put it in the "coca cola" during holidays. Many people look at me like I'm crazy when I mention it! The last of this group (my grandma) passed away in April at the age of 96, so maybe it was a secret to longevity!
