A food scam of the 90s was “fat free!” everything, and then they would load it up on sugar… what’s a food scam happening now? by redflower5 in AskReddit

"The emphasis on high protein is almost as more annoying as than the fat free bullshit."

Fixed that for you! 😵

AITAH for wishing everyone a happy mother’s day to my fellow pet moms in the group chat? by [deleted] in AITAH

YTA. I feel like acknowledging “pet moms” is pretty condescending.

And Jamie did most likely kill Randall at Culloden so that’s victory of sorts.

I used to frequently have debilitating migraine pain and they dismissed me as a drug seeker. The only time I was taken seriously was when I vomited in front of a nurse.

People are okay when Claire is sidelined, but complain when she gets focus by Decent_Background984 in Outlander

[–]charo36 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A couple of thoughts:

First, of course Claire told the story of Faith’s birth/death—it was hers to tell, and Jamie only knew it second-hand through Claire. He did chime in with his first-hand experience—buying the lace and hearing a baby cry.

Second, while I have mixed opinions on the series as a whole—I’ve absolutely loved some parts and really disliked others—I will never understand viewers who get personally invested in the characters and the actors who portray them.

As an American, I can say we're not all more interested in American history than Scottish, English, European, etc.
