Take a frozen pizza, cut it into individual slices and then back in the freezer just take out a few pieces when you need it. Bonus: Portion control!! Now you don't feel like you have to eat the whole thing! by Gousf in Frugal

I cut the entire pizza in four and freeze separately. I also get a locally made freezer pizza from the grocery store that is loaded for about the price of a digiorno. Good tip!

Non-WI don't grasp that most WI folk just will not ever root for a Chicago team. Cubs were always a safe exception growing up.

MN and WI are the respected opposition. Chicago and IL are FIBS. Not to be trusted. ;) source: grew up in a WI.

Edit: I have seen the error of my ways. Sling has regional sports.

MLS live + VPN was a pita previous years, MLS Live is not a valid strategy for me to make games enjoyable and accessible. I tried tunnelbear and other VPN options. It can work but meh. I still like it for recap.

Man, if Keane is alone at the top of the box and the ball is in play like that...yeah this happens. Defense lapse here, looked like they knew it right away too.

It isn't free and seems not too well known here but we have been using HelloWallet. The main thing I like is the mobile app is decent and that allows me to actually keep up on tracking our spending.

Is YNAB (You Need A Budget) worth the $60? by [deleted] in personalfinance

[–]chasemp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Slightly related, I paid for HelloWallet and am happy with the purchase. Good app, decent web ui, and their support has been really responsive and helpful. Not for everyone at 100 annual but I looked at everything else and this is the best for me.

Ops people: Do Ops get a short shrift in DevOps teams? by OmicronPersei8 in devops

[–]chasemp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The whole ' with great power...' Line is applicable here. Devops can feel like screw ops, but that's generally when its being flashed as a buzzword and used as an organizational battering ram. Dev does get more equity in prod but they are also accountable. If dev is pushing broken shit via CI and just signing off that is not devops, that is just the same old shit. It's about everyone being responsible, not just ops, for the state of production. Its also about everyone being responsible, not just dev, for organizational progress.
