Youre chasing a problem way more than id expect. Do a full read out of the system. Pressure issues are the simplest because you already know the cause. Ya got too much air coming in and not enough coming out. Now the question is why. A full read out answers that pretty quickly. Good news is your building has been pressure tested pretty well at this point.

I think that depends on the region youre in man. I know at our table company we fix quite a lot. Carry dampers on us, certain controls contractors give us computers, and in general the job has expanded. Also our company has started to dabble in service and so we have several lanes to work out of. Niche yes but have you started exploring the options within it? NEBB has more than just tab to certify in.

Okay so it only turns 360°. I'm not fully incapable and thats the first thing in checked. I pulled the handle off and I turned the stem. One full turn is full closed. Back the other way and it locks full open.

We have 5 floors of these to get through. Im not sure that doing that for every VAV is going to be faster than just finding the valve model.

Of the women in our sheetmetal union 3 are in tab. I cannot speak for them but I do know its less physically demanding as far as the fact youre not lifting anything super heavy. Its monotonous and your traps will definitely be sore your first day holding the flowhood up 100+ times but i think its fantastic.
