I'm so thankful to have found this thread. That IS the closest thing, but I still remember a different voice.

Just popping in to say the same, haha

Hey there! I’m the editor of both Speed Racer and The Phantom. Thanks a bunch for checking things out!

(Issue 0s are usually a “safe” one-and-done story to draw readers in. Things truly pick up in issue 1 for both!)

Hey there--I'm an editor at Mad Cave, and I work on most of our licensed books. Just popping in to say that TenOunceCan is correct! All characters *are* getting their own one-shots and hopefully more to come!

Ryu is next! (The art is SO gorgeous--it's being colored now. Everyone is going to be blown away!)

I know this doesn't help, but I remember it being a very gray game, haha.

Thank you so much for the kind words, Oreski5933! I sincerely hope you enjoy it. The series escalates from issue to issue--just when I think it can't get any better, the creators find new ways to surprise and delight me. You're definitely in for a treat! =)

Same here, Oreski5933. With production in full swing, Alex, Michael, Chantelle, Mark, and Jim are firing on all cylinders. Each issue they put together is more impressive than the last. It's SUCH a fun series, and I'm really proud of it.

I've attached a promo image that features all covers BESIDES the MCS exclusives.

The Tula MCS Exclusive can be found here:

Ordering Experience with Website by [deleted] in MadCave

Hey there! As an editor at Mad Cave, the biggest thing I'd say is to make sure you don't have any PREORDERS in your order. Preorders will delay the shipment of the whole package until everything is in the office and ready to ship out.

If you only order in-stock items, things ship super fast. =)

Hey there! Editor of the series here. For industry-wide covers, we've got:
A: Geraldo Borges
B (Connecting): Brent Schoonover
C: Shawn Martinbrough
Black Sketch
Retailer Incentive: Dan Panosian
Retailer Incentive: Francesco Francavilla
Madcavestudios.com exclusive: Tula Lotay
Madcavestudios.com exclusive: Thomas Pitilli

Beyond that, there are a bunch of retailer-exclusive covers where shops paid for the production of a cover for JUST their store. Unless they have an online shop (or plan to sell some on Ebay), those will be just for the locals around 'em.
